Wearing nothing but a skirt is of course much better.![]()
On reddit someone pointed out that seemingly it was always planned to only give us this butt with certain outfits but someone seemingly released it activated for every item. And now when they tried to change it they seemingly noticed how many people already have glamoured it thus they will deactive their change and then look closely on which outfits they will change it. So not 100% win for every combination but hopefully better than now.

Since ingenuity isn't your thing, at least use your eyes.
Sounds like me with women.
"Damn, face is pretty but the butt is Flat again"
Different teams work on different issues. It's not like there's 1 guy doing everything. As for the combat voices, my character has been fine, the new voices fit with the old ones. And gunbreaker sounds fine to me.To be entirely fair to that poster, they acknowledged in their second post in that thread that the developers had way more important things to deal with other than butt clipping. The wedding dresses partially eat Miqo’te and Au Ra tails in many of the poses, so the clipping is already there. If they weren’t going to fix the tail (i.e., perhaps make it float away from the body a bit more in the dress; or just offer an option to hide it completely, since it already slices straight through the fabric with no visible tail hole present), why fix the backside.
They also have more important things to address aside from “fixing” GNB sounds and “fixing” combat voices. I’m curious just what kind of priority list for issues they go on at this point.
AND since there was a bug report submitted, this is clearly a fix for that, and not "taking everyone's butts away just to spite you"
Maybe, just maybe, the actual results of the fix were unintended, and it was meant to fix a big, as that report clearly was, and probably wasnt limited to that outfit either.
But no, this was all an intent to slap users in the face, malign them, make them feel unwanted, etc.
Honestly, the amount of vitriol in this thread over this is utterly ridiculous. I've seen less hate over actual issues with the game.

I never said it was “just 1 guy doing everything”. I was merely questioning their priority, when there are far larger issues that could stand to be fixed over GNB sounds that were fine before, and combat voices that were fine before. No one asked for either as far as I’ve seen, and even the JP side of the community aren’t happy with the latter (I don’t know how they feel about the GNB sounds, but I know they also have a thread on the JP forums complaining about the new voices, because not all of the voices have sounds that “fit with the old ones”—I know my Miqo’te voice is one of these).
All right, so where’s the fixes for the myriad of other instances of clipping that have also been reported and noted throughout the years? They ignored people complaining that the Faerie Tale Princess attire literally eats the hands of any race that isn’t Lalafell, so why hasn’t it been fixed? There was more ranting about that outfit than there was 2B butts.AND since there was a bug report submitted, this is clearly a fix for that, and not "taking everyone's butts away just to spite you"
This thread is honestly quiet civil compared to some of the others I’ve been in, which have had far more “vitriol” in them. As I said to someone else, I’m sorry that some of us prefer our character’s behinds to look proportional to the rest of their bodies.Maybe, just maybe, the actual results of the fix were unintended, and it was meant to fix a big, as that report clearly was, and probably wasnt limited to that outfit either.

With the rest of the clipping in this game, I don’t see why this was a “fix” that needed to happen. They’ve blissfully ignored the rest of the clipping that goes on, so why was this one suddenly so different? No, this isn’t me putting on a tinfoil hat and saying they have something against proportional butts; it’s merely me questioning what made this change so important to implement. Apparently, they’ve “fixed” this problem, and caused an entirely new one with some of the other pieces of Nier gear in the process.

Yeah, I didn't mean to come off so witch-hunty. I just think that like you said, out of the huuuuuuuuuge list of other buggy or clipping things, THIS is what they prioritized likely because of this image. And you're right, they probably didn't think that it would ruin butts for everyone, but it did.To be entirely fair to that poster, they acknowledged in their second post in that thread that the developers had way more important things to deal with other than butt clipping.
