Its not misleading, I referenced that as medica+fey caress
Esuna is was referencing eerie soundwave which i misunderstood the effect of
Savage Completion Rate ~5%+ of active players. Community: "Ugh stop catering to savage"

Yeah, I'll be honest, I played BLU the day it came out and leveled it to 20, then I never touched it again. The new updates aren't really making me feel all that excited to give it another go and finish leveling it to 60. I don't even want to think about trying to get the lv50 primal skills at this juncture... Also I can't imagine how painful it'll be trying to do Coils and Alex savage with BLU, at level, without the Echo. I wasn't even playing the game yet when either of those were still current. To be fair, I didn't really expect much of BLU with this update to begin with, so I can't say I'm terribly surprised, maybe just a bit disappointed I wasn't proved wrong about it.
Just think of what we could have got if resources hadn't been wasted on this. It is sad to see that we were lied to yet again and I think I'm just going to stop believing anything the dev team says until it is in game been disappointed too many time now.
I'm probably still liking Blu more this way than if it was a regular job. At least I'll play it sometimes when they add carnival and spells, instead of potentially never playing it if was the 10th dps job competing for a slot in the same content all of the other jobs do. I mostly just stick to a few favorite jobs and ignore the rest.
I'm not gonna complain about the morbol mount almost certainly being out of my reach, but I do wonder how many people are even going to attempt that. How much crossover is there between solid raiders and people who bothered to level Blu and are willing to do old content on it. I'm guessing not many people, but cool at least there's some reason to do older raids without unsync cheesing it.
If only they put some of this dev time into making the healers more interesting.
There are five more stages added to the Carnivale after the first level 60 quest.
Of course, I've only tried one, and it seems to be the same "damage sponge with a gimmick that will kill you if you don't have the right spell on hand" as most of the rest of them. So it's not really very compelling, just more of the same.
Generally I think they need to overhaul BLU's damage. The fact they didn't listen to the community about BLU is appalling, and I think they need to reconsider how they should make BLU going forward. You don't even match up to the damage that DPS Jobs actually did in Heavensward naturally, so why not just boost the potencies? I mean, BLU has the tools for just about every role in the game despite being a Caster; just let it be OP for once since it's a limited job and don't treat it like you have to balance it all against DPS Jobs.
In some lighter and perhaps semi-funny news beyond a few more in-depth spells (like consuming dropsy to make things frozen), I mean of course there are still other issues with it like where loads of things are immune but that sort interaction- it's something. Personally especially if blue can't DF then spells collapsing, colliding, and creating cataclysmic combinations should be bread and butter.
That and you know, maybe some of you, know how I really wanted to make Blue Mage an advanced job with the key concept of chained (df) and unchained (non-df/unbalanced)? . . Looks like we got it!!! As an achievement . . .. Crafty localization team XD.
Don't worry fellow blue salters.. lol.. I'm still annoyed with the direction the job is and is going ("can't DF because spells" "lets make blue PF where you have to shout for hours (once content is old), rewards that are old, and also have those issues we prevented the job from joining DF for" /tableflip lol /cry, just checking a few bright/funny items.

I found it quite telling how they shoved a mount, a pet and an emote behind Blue now..as if they want people to at least use it..seemingly they are also not fine with how much its used otherwise why need incentives to play it?
Also who thought the requirements for the Morbol mount is great? Honestly this will probably turn a lot of people away from it instead of making them play Blue..give it to us if we have every spell, but putting it behind savage content that cant be unsynched and that is probably even worse with Blue..yeah more for peoples with a static and even less for those that wanted it for solo play or that are casuals..
Ah, then I misunderstood. My mistake.
With that being said, I will voice a complaint that I have: Yoshi-P stated that he wanted to produce Blue Mage content that wouldn't lead to people being excluded from Duty Finder parties because they didn't have access to certain abilities and spells. An understandable goal. Yet, with 5.15's release, the ever essential Raise spell is gated behind completion of all 30 Carnival stages as opposed to being easily accessible like White Wind or Mighty Guard!
I'm not really sure why this is. Doom I can understand being gated: when it works, it's pretty ridiculous. Moon Flute even more so given its massive buff. But a Raise? Let alone one with a five minute cooldown? That's kind of an essential part of a Healer's toolkit and already has a massive drawback attached to it! Why make it even more arduous for people to get access to? If anything, I'd suggest a powerful attack be placed behind there instead to offer incentive for people to do the content but not necessarily leave them missing an absolutely vital ability. How many people going for the Morbol mount do you think would be pleased to find out that their Healers (and maybe even DPS) can't raise people because they never bothered to get Angel Whisper?
