I am one who earns poetics often and spend them on gear to turn in for GC seals. I feel it wouldn't hurt to raise the tome cap specifically for poetics only.

Completely agree with this. I constantly use poetics and it still happens that I have to spend them or risk losing them because I either reach cap or get really close before I'm even done with daily roulettes. Since I do use them, I don't want to get shorted on them.
I would like this.
And a raise of the cap would not change that but would at least give those of us that need poetics for doing older relics the chance to not lose some of them. I have done some leveling and had no time to do Alexandrite maps at the same time (which are still 75 poetics each and are the only truly reasonable way to get them), especially since you are restricted with how many of them you have at that time. Because of that I either had to buy something else fast to not lose them in the next run or I lost them..I'd rather there just be a prompt letting me know that I cannot receive the total amount of poes the duty gives, and ask if I would like to proceed anyway.
I'm fine with the 2k cap. Even on a day full of duties, I only need to visit Idyllshire or the Reach once per day to make an exchange.
2k is not much. And seeing how more and more stuff is bought with poetics it imo makes sense to raise the cap. Those that dont need it are not hurt by it and the rest can at least be sure to not run out of space too fast.
the cap should at least be enough to buy a full set of augmented poetics/shire/scaevan gear. it really sucks when you hit the next 10 levels and you cant start actually doing content approrpiate to your level cuz youre only halfway geared
This is one reason why I am ok with the 2k cap. Another reason is because I already know that it doesn't matter what the cap is. Players who can't stand or tire of making trips to previous cities to spend older tomes will still let them cap, and still come asking for it to be raised. Pretty sure SE is aware of that as well.
Grinding out a relic is an exception, not a rule to go by when determining the cap. And it is cases like those why I wish there was a prompt. Not just for duties, but anything that gives poetics. In the case of an Alexandrite map, it would prompt you before digging. I'm holding onto 5 ARR relics myself, and the 2k cap has never been an issue for me.And a raise of the cap would not change that but would at least give those of us that need poetics for doing older relics the chance to not lose some of them. It's not difficult to open your menu and look at your currency. You can even set it to your hotbar for even easier access if need be. I have no doubt that if a 2k cap is an issue for a player, so will a 5k, 10k, and even 20k cap. It shouldn't be too difficult to see that the player already doesn't place enough value into poetics, and that's why they let them cap in the first place.
If there was a weekly limit like with current tomes and tokens, then I would definitely consider it a problem that the devs need to address.
I mean, I'm not opposed to there being a prompt, but I'd also like to see the caps raised. I'm going from close to zero to capped in less than a day just from casually playing the game. I've spent several thousand poetics just this week. I don't want to be checking my currency and running to Idyllshire twice a day because I'd rather be just playing the game.
I prefer letting poetics cap and spending a lot at once because I'm buying a lot of one thing with them (like unidentified shells and crafting materials), so it makes more sense to get, say, 13 shells at once than to run back after every dungeon to buy them one at a time.
I'd love if there was no cap at all, but I also know that's not likely to happen (and would probably crash a few markets). A raised cap would at least mean running back to town a bit less often :P

A prompt and a 10k cap.
Or no cap at all. But that's my idealism speaking ;-)
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
I support giving us a new 5k cap.
10k is to much IMO, 5K at least allows one to buy a full set of something, and would make some early game content grinds less of a hassle.
