I would rather have a male viera at the stage that female is now than not. Alas, I don't use most headgears and always come back to the hairstyle that I created my char.

True, people have different views it just shocked me to hear hardcore male viera supporters to the point where they use female and say they are men or other races and use the bunny ears and RP as a male viera just have that stance. Was wondering generally how shared such a view was granted both the discord and this thread are a small sample size but it was for curiosity sake.I think it was a good place to ask it. Of course most of us would probably like the missing gender more than the other option but even if you like male Vieras one could still have a different view.
And if you had opened a new thread for this on the general forum some people would have complained that you could have posted this in the mega thread instead of opening up another one.
Eh.. I don't think we should get male viera unless it was properly done, less limited than females at least.

Do they go on the forum? If so, they should definitely leave a like on the OPTrue, people have different views it just shocked me to hear hardcore male viera supporters to the point where they use female and say they are men or other races and use the bunny ears and RP as a male viera just have that stance. The way I see it, it would be best to get your foot in the door for male viera. New headgear and hair options for female viera are certain to come out - the devs aren't just going to make a new playable race and never add these things to them after release.
However, male viera are not certain. So when you ask the question "would you rather have more headgear/hairstyle for the new races, or male viera", I want to get male viera in the door.
Hairstyles and headgear will come in time. We just need patience. Those of us who have been requesting female and male viera to come out for years have a lot of it lol
As much as I want male viera (and by the twelve do I want to play one), I really want them to fix up the classes like healer (and bard) first.
Hang on a second... was this their masterplan all along? /insert thinking emoji
I won't be coming back to FFXIV's forums. The forum vibe is way too venomous and brings out the worst in me. I don't like who I am on the forums, so it's best to distance myself.
I really doubt that those that create races are the same as those that are creating jobs..otherwise they really need more people.
Same
I'm not at all against male Viera but I just hope you guys don't get as screwed as we were with the females, and the same applies to Ronso (yeah, not even trying to write their name down ^^")
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
Well you come back to the same hairstyle because you found one you were happy with, thanks to the broad selection you get with other races.
It's not quite the same when you only get half a dozen options. I'm personally not satisfied with the limited choices for Viera.
There's a lot of people who would settle for a limited selection of hairstyles over not being able to play male viera, I'd wager.
I don't like most of the hairstyles in this game, so I'm not too bothered about whether or not there's limited options for male viera hairstyles. So long as there's at least one good style, I'll be content.
