depends if you play on the correct server for your timezone, europeans are sleeping late night and early morning so you cannot get frontline pops unless you wait a very long time.Except it isn't? There were plenty of 24m pops during early/late hours prior to any events. Was my favorite time to queue precisely because 24m was more enjoyable than 72m, and it also didn't line up with any PvE schedules. Ever since they sorted out the queue issues with Freelancer and rotating the maps daily, Frontlines didn't really have any queue issues, unless you were queuing at some absurd hour like 3am. Any reasonable early/late hour it was still popping. Prime time during new content releases (so majority off doing new Trial/Raid/etc) or Tuesday reset 24m could also pop.
Now what do we have? Absolutely no pops until prime time, and if there is anything else going on (Rival Wings community day being another thing that takes a large sum of PvPers away from Frontlines) then the queue dies even in prime time. Even if it's active, say 96 people are in queue? 24 of them are now waiting for a match to end so they can get into the next 72m pop, rather than just having a 24m pop alongside the existing pop.
Removing 24m did absolutely nothing good for Frontlines. All it did was make matters worse, and saying "We'll that's just how it usually is" is a complete lie. Even if it wasn't, and queues were terrible outside events... Why remove 24m then? All it does it make things worse. There was no good reason for removing 24m. "It's hard to get pops outside events, so lets make it harder!", it's an absolutely absurd route for SE to have taken.

Yeah which is a bad design, people having to wait until a certain time to pvp. I haven't had the chance to pvp for almost 2 weeks now because I hardly play during prime time cause reasons, and I will only wait 25 minutes to get into a match; after that I just stop queuing for the day because I don't want to possibly waste my time like others already have with 100+ minute queues.

Before these changes it wasn't uncommon to get 15 min queues during morning/midday on Chaos DC in EU times.
getting a pop in 15 minutes even in prime time is pretty good when there are no events/new content going on, are you comparing current times to moogle event insta pops?

The person you quoted clearly said morning/midday. They have zero pops. 24 mans would pop almost instantly at daily reset on crystal and then a couple times after. Then kind of hit and miss. It could be 5 mins if 24 random people que or could be half hour. I have qued at almost every time of the day. I could take screen shots. But I can easily see two hours plus no pop from roughly 2:30pm est to about 4:30. Zero pops from reset to when ever I come down and turn the game off. Someone has a nice pick on PvP forum forgot was qued and had maxed out the timer.
We will never see the numbers if SE keeps a record of how many instances pop and when they pop. People aren't complaining/questioning the change based on Moogle event, New Gear, or New map. This is about the lulls in between. 72 is not viable on some data centers. We are literally back to Pre-frelancer. Even on prime time on Crystal you might get a match and then not get another match till that one finishes which can easily be 20 mins.
I don't want to single you out. But I don't understand this, its because event is over. You don't think the people who que regularly don't know what to expect from pops outside of certain event windows. I at least feel and it seems others do as well, that SE broke the small amount of PvP outside of prime time. With out concrete evidence all we know is that during lulls the game has almost zero pops. I am sure you meant well and thanks for giving this a bump.
pvp has never popped instantly for me during the reset outside the moogle event, like I said 15 minutes is a pretty decent wait time, pops faster if premade alliances are running it.The person you quoted clearly said morning/midday. Just did a random check of top 100 for your Data center. To be in top 33 you need 9 wins to be in top 100 you need 2. That is not even enough to complete the challenge log. Your data center has a serious problem. At least the other EU data center to hit top 100 you need 3 wins. From looks of it EU pvp can't support 2 Data centers. Yet NA could support 3 when we had 24s. From the look of it JP can support 72s with 3 Data centers.
If EU wanted to PvP they should be the most vocal. You clearly aren't getting even the same amount of matches as NA. Which I might add is not very many.
