getting a pop in 15 minutes even in prime time is pretty good when there are no events/new content going on, are you comparing current times to moogle event insta pops?

The person you quoted clearly said morning/midday. They have zero pops. 24 mans would pop almost instantly at daily reset on crystal and then a couple times after. Then kind of hit and miss. It could be 5 mins if 24 random people que or could be half hour. I have qued at almost every time of the day. I could take screen shots. But I can easily see two hours plus no pop from roughly 2:30pm est to about 4:30. Zero pops from reset to when ever I come down and turn the game off. Someone has a nice pick on PvP forum forgot was qued and had maxed out the timer.
We will never see the numbers if SE keeps a record of how many instances pop and when they pop. People aren't complaining/questioning the change based on Moogle event, New Gear, or New map. This is about the lulls in between. 72 is not viable on some data centers. We are literally back to Pre-frelancer. Even on prime time on Crystal you might get a match and then not get another match till that one finishes which can easily be 20 mins.
I don't want to single you out. But I don't understand this, its because event is over. You don't think the people who que regularly don't know what to expect from pops outside of certain event windows. I at least feel and it seems others do as well, that SE broke the small amount of PvP outside of prime time. With out concrete evidence all we know is that during lulls the game has almost zero pops. I am sure you meant well and thanks for giving this a bump.

Managed to get a game pop yesterday and quickly remimded why I don't enjoy 72 man. Tried going healer as my team only had 1 from the start. Everyone seems to move as a big murderball and people get deleted from 100% hp in a matter of seconds, feels like healing is pointless in these cases. At least in 24 man you had time to actually heal people before they died.
Would love 24 man back, not just for better pop time, but because your own contribution mattered a lot more than the zerg fest of 72 man.

Smart play was also just flat out rewarded in the 24 mans. An individual player's contributions are next to nil in the 72 man unless you somehow got MASSIVELY lucky with a ranged/magic LB placement, which is about as likely as winning the lottery. By contrast I always felt like a single player could massively impact the 24 man scene and that CC in particular was vital to almost every win. The only downside to that mode was that the maps were often too big to facilitate it and that modes like Secure in particular could feel like a downright chore to play. However SE should have frankly looked into making a specialized, smaller map that caters to the 24 man experience instead of just nixing it entirely based off of these complaints. Yeah it might be a pain to code said map taking priority over the normal Frontline maps, not to mention the resources needed to even make it to begin with, but it's better than just throwing up your hands and deleting an entire method of play just because people aren't too happy with it's current implementation.Managed to get a game pop yesterday and quickly remimded why I don't enjoy 72 man. pvp has never popped instantly for me during the reset outside the moogle event, like I said 15 minutes is a pretty decent wait time, pops faster if premade alliances are running it.The person you quoted clearly said morning/midday. The person also said "before these changes" as in they USED to get 15 min pop times off prime time before SE took out 24 man. Which is similar to my experience... before moogle event and before the mad scramble to finish up garo stuff, I'd wait like 20-40 minutes for a 24 man match if I was queuing morning/midday. Sometimes less.
Which like. I don't even like 24 man (for similar reasons to the people above who do haha) because one or two people not playing with the team could be enough to make a match hopeless (or close to it) in my experience. But it's better than an hour+ long wait to play at all :P

Just did a random check of top 100 for your Data center. To be in top 33 you need 9 wins to be in top 100 you need 2. That is not even enough to complete the challenge log. Your data center has a serious problem. At least the other EU data center to hit top 100 you need 3 wins. From looks of it EU pvp can't support 2 Data centers. Yet NA could support 3 when we had 24s. From the look of it JP can support 72s with 3 Data centers.
If EU wanted to PvP they should be the most vocal. You clearly aren't getting even the same amount of matches as NA. Which I might add is not very many.
