The priorities taken by SE while communicating with their playerbase are weird.

But this is a (pretty expensive) subscription game. So all topics are "important" then because we all here pay a double-digit figure every month (btw, my supplementary dental insurance that covers 70% of ANY dentist bills cost less than this game per month...)

Not that I'm saying I don't want more interaction but I think this response makes sense. Definitive, non-opinion / future forward content, answer that doesn't require communication with the other side.
Vs something like "chocobo paradise when? Personal airships, yes?". Which is something they may have a vague answer/musings for, but I think SE is worried we will hold them accountable for and so they don't share that often. Like if they said "we are looking into it, it sounds interesting" turns into by some of us sometimes "we've promised it and it'll come out soon". Again not that I'm saying less contact is good, just that I think this software question would be an easy example of an interaction that is swift to handle with low to no negative consequences (vs translations on top of dev musings on subjects and potential could be's if time, money, skill, and game wills... Which of course I want but also easy to turn into a painful process lol).

I agree that it really depends on the subject. But take a look at the PVP forum, the feedback threads have all been posted 10 days ago and from what we can see, there hasn't been any acknowledge of them. I'm not saying they have to come out and answer all the questions, but a simple post stating that they're looking at the feedback would be very helpful and show that they are engaging a bit with the community. Not that I'm saying I don't want more interaction but I think this response makes sense.
