Y'ever just see something someone says and know they're trying to start something? So by your own admission (due to working), you were also not helping and feel that you are more entitled to getting into the FATE moreso than people who may (or may not) have helped due to simply being an inhabitant on that world?
Smells like double standards to me to be quite honest.
I mean, the fact they can turn it on and off is a good thing.
At launch, it should have been off, and see the balance of servers. Then, if servers needed support, they could turn it on for those weaker servers to get support.
It was merely my opinion of the original post.
I know of a fair few people who have done no contribution to the restoration project, heard that a fate was up and would offer them 500 scrips, attempted to enter the instance and couldn't. They then jumped on the bandwagon and started to accuse world visitors of blocking them from doing the FATE which, in my opinion, they had no divine right to be able to do over another player, regardless of their home world or not.
When someone says they'd been at work all day and presumably slept, it is safe to assume that they hadn't contributed for over 15 hours, if at all as there was no indication of this in the original post (they have since felt the need to clarify).
I empathise with the OP, because my world had done the first fate before I'd finished work, the 2nd was at 1:48am so no chance for me and we haven't hit the 3rd because well, no wanderers to help us progress :')
My suggestion in Ishagard Restoration is vistors from other servers only do turn ins only and FATE will be only for home sever players only.
It means visitors won't get rewards from FATE. Only turn-ins get rewards.
My suggestion they get rid of the fate and make it a quest like how was at Doman Enclave once it reached max got quest to show the rebuild happening. Having a fate was a terrible idea. Like for me every time it popped it was in the morning when I would be at work. For ending world visit for restoration not sure was very smart small servers is now going to get there's way later that big servers will since don't have help from world visit anymore. I know now in mine now there's only third in it now after they ended world visit for it.
So you're saying some rando that's greedy and wants to take part in everyone's FATEs (like the ones I saw visit Diabolos, which were like "hey guys when's the next one") are somehow more entitled to a world's FATE than someone who actually plays on that world, just because said person was at work for most of the day? So when that person gets home, you're saying they don't get to complain when a bunch of jobless people are clogging up their world because they weren't playing enough? Hello? It was merely my opinion of the original post.

It goes the other way around too. A jobless person could clog up the instance in their own world by parking there waiting for the FATE, while the other person who happened to miss the FATE because it got congested from AFK people or because they were at work that time have no other chance of doing it anymore. Even some people who were busy with their jobs would park their characters in the instance out of fear of getting locked when the FATE timer draws near. So was it really world visit to blame? or the design of one instance with a capacity of 300-350 with rewards that everyone wants? So you're saying some rando that's greedy and wants to take part in everyone's FATEs (like the ones I saw visit Diabolos, which were like "hey guys when's the next one") are somehow more entitled to a world's FATE than someone who actually plays on that world, just because said person was at work for most of the day? You also can't assume they weren't helping either so you can't really have anything to say. If you read the forums more, you might of noticed the hundreds of voice's being known about this issue. I read the forums and I see screenshots of people being toxic about hoarding the fates on other servers, pretty upsetting to see that from this community. I'm glad they fixed it, now you can stay on your server and help your server do the project and let each server handle it's own and let them have their own fates. CheersSo by your own admission (due to working), you were also not helping and feel that you are more entitled to getting into the FATE moreso than people who may (or may not) have helped due to simply being an inhabitant on that world?

Also, do you have a quantifiable stat when claiming the majority of players were being listened to? I certainly wasn't asked
That being said, I'm glad they changed it, even if it means my server will now go mega slow (ironically because the visitors are no longer there to help)

Yes. Because it's the world visit system that allowed people from other worlds to clog up the instance. What lets people from other worlds do that? Literally only world visit. Only world visit lets people from other worlds fill up an instance. If you take out world visit, people from other worlds can't do that. Therefore, duh.
But what would prevent people from the world itself from clogging it by AFKing inside when the FATE is near? Take the FATE rewards out, would your world still get clogged by the world visit system? of course not. Can you explain why it wouldn't get clogged in this case despite world visiting being available? Come on, you can do it lol.Yes.
