I think the loot timer could be shortened a bit. I’ve had a few scenarios of Copied Factory where a member of an alliance needed to be dismissed (usually because they were AFK, but also sometimes because of attitude), but they refuse to roll on stuff, so the only instance where it’s possible to dismiss them is after the Tank/Flyer adds and before Engles. They clearly knew what they were doing, because the loot would be rolled on the second we entered combat and they were deemed “safe”.
What does this have to do with anything? You can roll between pulls in dungeons and between bosses in 24-mans with very little issue.

Has a lot to do with it... tanks don't sit around and wait for the healer to look and roll. I find that i often don't have time to look and after all is said and done the loot roll time is fine and doesn't need adjusting.

Sounds like a personal problem. Turning on autorun while you spend 15 seconds to need, greed or pass isn't going to ruin your experience, I assure you. Or taking the same time to do so while enough people gather at the entrance (I'm assuming that because you refuse to take the time to stop and do so "just in case" that you should be departing almost instantly, so you should certainly be one of the first there!)
If you're not one of the first to the next fight, and you're not autorunning, and you're always under this existential threat of the tank committing the cardinal sin of pulling without you (despite there being absolutely nothing life threatening within 15 seconds of any 24 man or dungeon that can't be handled by a single healer or the tank alone, and you being prompted to enter the fight 15 seconds after pulling no matter where you are), I have to ask what exactly you're doing between pulls.
And just for clarity, I play on controller, where menu navigation and rolling on loot is a bit more awkward than M+KB, and it's still as easy as anything.

This sounds like a personal problem. I’ve never had trouble rolling on loot after dungeon bosses while tanks are running to the next pack.
Neither do I. I just use the analog stick while I roll on the loot. It’s not that hard.
“You’re not the one healing” is a poor excuse to keep the timer as long as it is.
