For better or worse, Shadowbringers is very much pandering to a new audience entirely. Everything, thus far, has been dumbed down or simplified, be it the jobs themselves, Savage or crafting. That isn't to say some changes weren't welcomed or the expansion wasn't good. Quite the contrary, especially in regards to the latter. But there is no question the game is more heavily catering towards attracting new players over maintaining existing ones.
