A-mazing. At how people defend bad players who don't want to learn. From Monopoly to Tetris, games have always had an increase in difficulty. That's how they're supposed to work. Why is it for XIV it's suddenly the worst thing ever?

You are actively being a detriment by willingly never learning to the hundreds of players you group with and a liability that should by all means, get kicked. Solo instances should be the tutorial mode that tells people, git gud.

Have your hand held 1-30 but you gotta take those training wheels off sometime.

From Levels 1-30, strictly doing the MSQ, a player has already gone through several dungeons and a trial. It's not like the game is a bunch of solo instances, and *then* party content. All of this is dotted throughout the campaign. Solo instances, by and large, are breathers to have your character actively participate in an action sequence. It's a narrative enhancement, not a skill gate.
