To my knowledge no rational person is actually claiming it's whitewashing. Even when I mentioned it I was being facetious. Meanwhile, it's obvious the 'tanned not brown' argument was in retaliation to the 'brown skin' in the thread title since, typically, when it comes to these things people generally just read the title jump to conclusions and then start projecting and blowing things up.
