Oh I used to be one of them! xD
I played as a Monk 3 years ago and people told me LB LB LB LB LB and I tried replying on my console (didn't have keyboard) and it took me forever to reply that I don't know what it is... ;____;
You are informed via active help upon entering Sastasha. However you also have 3 other active help pop ups at the same time that you probably will never read through before the rest of your party dashes off to mass pull the dungeon. Then by the time LB fills up you've probably forgotten it exists and continue to forget about it until you reach a point in the game where LB is actually needed (basically the end) and you realize you've never used it.

That would fall under "willful ignorance that SE cannot fix". People who use jump potions are expected to have taken some initiative to not be totally clueless.new ppl who got jump potions might not know about it, tbh
while i never said SE can/should "fix" this, brand new people just joining the game and using a jump potion are often over whelmed with information. it wouldnt be unheard of if they had missed it and not willful ignorance. if they refuse to learn, then yes.
And whose fault is that?while i never said SE can/should "fix" this, brand new people just joining the game and using a jump potion are often over whelmed with information.
When you skip ahead you're going to miss stuff, unless you've done your homework beforehand. That's kind of the whole point of skipping stuff. You don't just pick up the fifth book of Harry Potter with zero prior exposure to the series and expect to understand everything that's going on, nor is it the fifth book's responsibility to bring you up to speed.
To be fair, even ppl who do know about the limit break seldom use them. I end up often using my caster lb on a single target because melee never ever lb, even when its called out.
It's one of those things ppl fail to remember cause they are either so focused on their rotation they don't think about it or they are just not watching their screen due to faceroll content.
Either way my caster lb is still better than those annoying melee who use it every time the first gauge fills cause they think 3 small lbs are better than 1 big one lol
Good luck trying to ask a ranged DPS to LB PULL!!!
I was under the impression that jump potions put you through a crash course. If they dont, or its like a 1 minute ordeal, that needs to be reworked so you have a solid understanding of fight mechanics. A simple 30 second combat prompt that explains limit break and has you use it would solve this issue, much like anything else that someone using a jump potion would need to know. I dont see how it's impeding a player to spend 5-10 minutes to take a quick course that explains the mechanics and you have to do them correctly. If you fail, you cant proceed through the course/fight and theyll reexplain the mechanic.That’s not really something SE can rectify. They have a pop-up in place to please ask questions and read Tooltips and Active Help tips when you jump a job. If players cannot do that, what else is SE to do?
That said, I thought whenever you made a new character, the LB wasn’t among the default buttons placed on the bar? For crossbars, it was always your level 1 skill, auto-attack, Sprint, teleport, and return. LB was never placed on the crossbar for those who choose the controller scheme since I can remember, and I’ve played for 4 years. I’m not sure what Keyboard/Mouse users see, though.
