Please Make Limit Break A Default Ability Again

When Shadowbringers came out, I had no idea that they would remove the original options for the default abilities that were on your hotbar, including Auto Attack, Sprint and most notably, Limit Break. Since this change was made, it seems that no one either uses Limit Break or is even aware of its existence. There have been multiple times where I will call out of Limit Break in dungeons and trials and no one uses it and it has actually caused wipes on a few occasions. There was even an instance a few days ago, where I got The Ghimylt Dark for my roulette and drew an all noob party. I was Tanking and when I asked the DPS to use the Limit Break on the bosses, one of them actually asked me "What is Limit Break?". This had me thinking in an LOL manner, "that gold bar at the top of the screen that says 'Limit Break'? That's just there for decoration."

SE, please restore the original hotbar so that people, especially new players are aware of the existence of Limit Break.

That’s not really something SE can rectify. They have a pop-up in place to please ask questions and read Tooltips and Active Help tips when you jump a job. If players cannot do that, what else is SE to do?

That said, I thought whenever you made a new character, the LB wasn’t among the default buttons placed on the bar? For crossbars, it was always your level 1 skill, auto-attack, Sprint, teleport, and return. LB was never placed on the crossbar for those who choose the controller scheme since I can remember, and I’ve played for 4 years. I’m not sure what Keyboard/Mouse users see, though.

Limit Break was never on the hotbar by default even on Keyboard. On new characters and upon equipping job stones for the first time.

Up to this day I still wonder why?
I know we get a help pop-up in the first dungeon explaining about LB but it's not intuitive for a new player to go digging through menus especially in the middle of instance.
Heck, I sometimes forget to put LB in my hotbar when I level a new job.

This is why you make a shared hotbar for important things you'd like to have access to on any job.

Also, I think you might also be able to click the Limit Gauge to execute the LB, instead of needing the skill on a hotbar. But I'm not 100% on that. And, still, not intuitive.

Finally, can confirm, years ago, only sorta knowing that LB was a thing, not understanding how to have a button to use it (before figuring out I could drag any of those skills or menus or anything else onto hotbars). Seem to remember that, in some of my earliest runs, trying to open the Actions menu and using the LB from there. So, probably yeah, was never on hotbars. Should be, tho.

I'm mostly annoyed that you can't make a limit break macro anymore to gauge pull distance on bosses since it no longer has a cast range.

This game if you start brand new teaches you almost everything with the notifications.
You cant fix ignorance, it will be stronk.

i wasn't saying SE should rectify it, it was aimed at "Let's face it, if you make it to Ghimlyt Dark without knowing about limit breaks". sorry for the confusion
