The entire team isn't working on the goobbue mount, it was probably only 1-3 people out of the 200 at most.

Its a gimmick, and it will end up making the game look silly without any limits on it.

Even on the JP forums, they are complaining that the Achievement Crowns should be weakened (some have even suggested changing the bonus on the Paragon to +1) because the game looks stupid when everyone looks the same.

How do you know that this is just not an NPC and that we get this as a mount....and SE really? Stop right now -.- Chocobos and maybe even Magi-teck (as a throwback to FFVI) and thats it! Really we dont need 50 cheesy stupid mounts like other MMOs have.....

You have, as a Final Fantasy title, a distinguished and well know form of travel.

Yeah I see no point to this... they need to keep their distinctiveness from the other mmo and games. I want to see more of ffxi brought here, not WoW or any other games.. FFXI is what brought me into the FF world. I want FFXIV to be just as good if not better in the end.
