I assume you'll have to choose in advance which role you're queuing as, which rather defeats the purpose of this idea. If that's all you want, level SMN/SCH.

If you DON'T choose in advance, then by the time they're done implementing this, they could've just let you queue for different duties (or the same duty) as different jobs and achieve the same effect without having to make role-specific-but-same-job weird actions.

No your role is changed automatically after 1 - 5 minutes of waiting in the duty finder to fill whatever role is missing. As for premade/fixed parties they could come up with a way to allow us to choose.

Then I'd rather just have them implement a system that allows me to queue for a duty as several different jobs to fill the slot.

That gets a "no" from me, then. It's one thing to allow the player to choose the role they want to take up beforehand. It's another when you're basically forcing them into a role because reasons.
