FFXIV/WOW cross over event?

You know cross over events dont have to be about money
Like Garo , Yokai watch is dead in west and didn't need sale help in jp and similar to DQ back when that event was out.

Just because they didn't NEED the sales, doesn't mean that they didn't want more potential profits. Any business does, whether they need it or not.

This isn't Yokai Watch but we had a collab for that.

I have one question for you, however...have you played WoW? Like, actually played it? Most people I've seen in this game hating on WoW never actually tried it. They just hate it because they can. It was, at least at one time, a pretty great game. Lately? Not so much. There's a reason I cancelled my sub. I honestly wouldn't even consider WoW to be a competitor anymore. But that doesn't change the fact that it was a great game played by millions upon millions of people. A crossover would be neat, imo.

To be fair, they aren't MMO's. (MH did/does have one but I think it's dead because it was garbo lol.)

That said, I dabbled in WoW for like an hour or two. I like the Panda people, thought they were cute...
but that's it. It just felt very boring and I can't be asked to have 40 addons to enjoy the game
optimally like people claimed to me. I don't hate it but it's not for me.
If they did have it, well more power to those who did want it.
Nothing wrong with more things to do I say. What I see mostly from WoW hate
are players who miss the WoW of old. Apparently it's crappy now?

I very much prefer different collabs though, and more ones that have dungeons and stuff we can do
like they kinda did with MH with the Trial. That's any sort of event honestly.

While i am not opposed i'd much rather seeing different events. Like where is the Chrono Trigger/Cross event? or the Valkyrie profile event? Or the Star Ocean event? Xenogears event? Mana and SaGa events? Kingdom hearts? These are square properties that people would like to see. It makes more sense.


But, i will let you know that WoW players react the same way about it. They call FFXIV weeb stuff they don't want in WoW. So, it's funny how it's mutual with many people here.

I have nothing against it though, but i think Blizzard might be too prideful for it. If we wen't for mmo's, i think a Guild Wars 2 collab would be more fitting. The styles fit better together.

Funny but that would never happen (thankfully). Azerite is the blood of Azeroth. It cannot appear in Eorzea.

The way i imagine this would work would be having an Ifrit Fight in WoW and a Ragnaros fight in FFXIV. AKA it has to be based on the vanilla releases of WoW and ARR as they are the iconic moments most people know.

I don't know if it would happen... but I would love the legion artifact weapons and for mounts... there are a lot of options but ...

Deathwing, if we fight him. Ravenlord. Ashes/Invincible are more obvious choices but we have birds and horses soooo.

There was two monster hunter mmo

monster hunter online a chinese game but flopped
Monster hunter frontier super popular in Japan but shutting down due to loyalty of a monster gimmick leading too much into power creep

Monster hunter has always been a mmo-lite though ever since ps2
Especially with world and it's login bonus,seasonal events,Cross over events etc etc
