FFXIV/WOW cross over event?

So after seeing Blizzard send Yoshi a gift to congratulate him for the release of SHB I think a cross over event would be rather awesome.

Things like a Shadow minion or Frostmourne DRK weapon could make good event items
(Orc barding anyone?)

Thoughts?

actually be real cool if we got a shape shift mount that was race dependent
similar to Druids Cat,bear etc etc

Nah not gunna respond with angry comment you are allowed an opinion - As for why collab with the competition? Why not? Why would blizzard send gifts to SE? Also I do believe one of the dev team is a Dva main

Why do you have to hate WoW because you play FFXIV?

That's a rather nice post. Something we often forget is that developers are human too and not money obsessed machines like we often assume. I stopped playing WoW a while back because the overall game went in a direction I no longer enjoyed, but you could still see little development things where they were just having fun, the little jokes, references, April fools patch notes, toys and so on. Same in ff14 in many small details, like for example where the devs did overtime to add 500 head items for the new races just to make the expansion as great as possible.

I'd be fine with a WoW crossover. It could be a lot of fun. I had fun times in WoW, we often forget those fun memories because we end up raging at the developers over what they "ruined". I'd be all for it.
