The introduction of NewGame+ is an update I've been very much looking forward to, if only to have the opportunity to complete the ShB story again. I would probably do much of the HW MSQ again too. The lack of rewards and EXP don't deter me in the slightest, I'd be more than happy to replay those sections of the MSQ again purely for the story.

What people wanted was to level new jobs while enjoying the story again. Cause that is what people enjoy. That the devs were this blind to it is shocking to me. Maybe some would, but i can guarantee that most wouldn't. The point of mmo's is to progress your character. If you don't understand that i dunno what to tell you. Your view is that much tilted.

And this thread proves i was right? Lots of people came here to express their disappointment. I know there are people who will be happy with just replaying the story. But do you know that that is not everyone?

Some people will have wanted NG+ to be an additional method of obtaining EXP and will be, understandably, disappointed. Other people will be perfectly content to use it solely to be able to experience the story in all of its detail again. The views of both being shown throughout the thread. As of yet, it can't be argued with complete confidence that either of those viewpoints are in a significant majority.

Are you this ok with denying others a feature they could enjoy? Why?
If that is the case, and i have my doubts, then what exactly is your problem? If the exploit is happening already having new game + give XP rewards would change absolutely nothing. So, again, why are you adamant in denying people a feature they could enjoy?

Whilst I’ve only quickly skimmed through the thread, I’ve only seen previous posters explaining possible reasons as to why such rewards were removed. Is that ‘adamantly denying people a feature they could enjoy’?

Honestly the biggest waste of resources i have ever seen in an mmo feature. The things that could've been done instead of this.

Because the feature hasn’t been delivered in the way that you wished it, you deem it to be unnecessary and a total waste of resources, despite many players here posting that it is a feature they eagerly anticipate. That is your opinion (an opinion shared, no doubt) and one that you’re perfectly entitled to have. However, others have just as much right to express their opinion that the removal of rewards/EXP was necessary.

I could tell you the same. They already had an option for that by rolling a new character though. This is the option of doing the story again on the same character and it's completely pointless. Yeah, some people might do some parts for a refresher. But, it's not about not being for everyone, it's about being for almost no one.

Completing the MSQ again with a new character isn’t an option for many, myself included. Despite wanting to replay parts of HW and now ShB, I didn’t have the time or motivation to complete the entire ARR MSQ again each time, reach the quest section I want, complete it, then have to restart all over again if I ever wanted to re-do or catch up on another section in future.
As others have already mentioned, not all cutscenes and dialogue are available at the Inn. Watching videos of other players completing the MSQ isn’t an option for everyone; seeing another player's WoL in the cutscenes can be quite a distraction. Some players may want to redo sections of the MSQ alongside friends new to the game, without needing to create a completely new character. Others may want to check different dialogue options. There’s lots of reasons why this will be an attractive feature for many, with or without EXP.
