They should add a mechanic where if you don't join in the boss fights you get no exp. No excuse now since you get a teleport to boss option.

Not just the boss fights but the Magitek mount part too, people need to participate instead of just afking at the bulkhead, I mean I play Super Metroid on my Switch during the cut scenes if I'm going to put that down and help clear the way, so should everyone else.
In that case, they need to prevent the lift from operating unless all 8 players are on it and have their keys activated. There's always someone who's in a rush and hits controls before everyone is on it, and it's not uncommon for someone to not get their key (usually a new player who doesn't understand they also need to click the panel). By the time it comes back down so the players left behind get on, the rest of the group is far enough ahead they can't catch up to help clear the path.
Hard to blame someone for basically AFKing through the magitek ride when someone else in the group made that decision for the player. Maybe we should be kicking the person who activated the lift too fast instead?

Honestly I like this idea, though it could just as easily be abused by someone going up, hitting the boss a single time, then afking again. People already abuse the boss arena teleport to not even move during LotA/ST runs and just afk in the back.
All the same, I wish there was a better way to deal with afkers than just kicking them or reporting.

Yeah you can't even kick during the Magitek part because its considered "incombat" its a frustrating situationHonestly I like this idea, though it could just as easily be abused by someone going up, hitting the boss a single time, then afking again. Being honest, I don't even like kicking afkers - they basically just get a free pass to queue up again and do the same thing over and over. :/ The only way kicking works out is if they get notorious enough on a Data Center that they're immediately removed every time.
Except then what happens when get those that do the cut scene skip method or people who mash through cut scenes few of fights can be beat before those not mashing get out of them.
