The benefit of not saying names, whether in lighthearted jokes or serious call-outs, is that it leaves it up to others to ask themselves if the message applies to them,
"Am I doing this?" If you identify with what is described, then yes. If some other person reads it and thinks it applies to them because they have done exactly what is being described, then yes to them too. This way, I don't leave anyone out, or call out the wrong person, or unfairly target only one when others have done the same. And in this thread of more than one thousand pages, you know there's been more than one.
I know it may comes off as passive-aggressive humor to some, but I'm just trying to be as fair as possible in my posts.
