Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Considering that most male Miqo'te running around me are close to or max height (which I can tell because I'm on 6/100 ) - I'm not sure what makes people think that most of male Viera are going to be minimum height. There will be some, that's for sure (I know I will be, because I just like my character to be closer to my irl height, and in case with Viera it will be 0/100), but majority..? Doubtfull.

Not impossible, but probably unlikely. While they are similar, they still hit for different auditory. I know people who like Miqo'te primarily for their animated ears and tails, as well as for their lively emotions, which is something what isn't present in Viera. Their overal aesthetic is also fairly different despite overlapping in some ways. Plus Miqo'te are cats. Who doesn't like cats?

Also there's still the fact that Viera are unable (and likely will never be able) to wear all headgear... and even tho in most cases people don't really wear any to being with, for a lot of people it also can be a deal breaker thing.

no catboy/girl is a very over-saturated concept ,i dont think anything can compete besides maybe if we had miqote but they were wolves instead of cats.

Some countries reverse the use of full stops and commas for thousands and percentages. If there are three digits after the full stop and it doesn't make sense as a percentage, you can guess that it's probably being used to mark thousands – and that adds up with the numbers on the chart once you add the numbers of male characters from the two clans together.

As Iscah pointed out, the use of dots and commas in values is different from country to country. Values in the post are the total amount of characters per race, and dots here indicate thousands.

Yup. The Viera are a unique species with Human and Bunny traits, but what also makes them unique is that they live hundreds of years, rofl. Can't wait for next month.

It actually does bother me that they decided, no, Elezen don't get to be long-lived like elves tend to be in almost every media under the sun while Viera get to keep that bit of lore from FFXII..? I guess the caveat being they probably never planned for Viera to be in this game back during 1.0 when (most) everyone else got introduced...

Viera have been in a variety number of games, they have been in the FF series for decades & have an extensive amount of lore that people hold dearly to them.

Miqo’te we’re implemented in XIV so barely anyone cares about their backstories or where they came from.

Don't you think there was enough back and forth about "Viera lore"? People need start to agree to disagree since Male Viera are confirmed and coming very soon, no matter how much some people want to throw the "but lore" card XD It's like beating a dead horse at this point.
