    On that we agree. I'm not as convinced that moving away from gender locks would necessarily influence gear design, but I can see why you're concerned that it would.

    You can't decide where the proper tradeoff lies for other people though. It's subjective. Krile's outfit has been brought up as an example supporting the idea that some clothes only look good on certain races but I don't see a problem with it on non-lalafells as far as the form goes. The hood doesn't work well with Viera, but I much prefer having the option to wear it than for someone else to decide that I can't.
