Because the gear is fine as it is and not everything is for every body type. If you feel males should have cooler gears, then yeah, they should get gear perfectly designed for them. If females should get trench coats, design something suitable for them. I'd rather developers work on that; much better than spending resources on redesigning old gear for a vocal minority that'll use it one time. And I see no reason to oppose THIS. Let people have special items. Kyrlie's outfit already proved not every race is meant to share certain glam

And males have bare chest exposed. What's your point?

I’m fine with gendered clothing and I will push for more race specific equipment too.
I like seeing things designed for the body type and unique features, rather than a one size fits all solution.

That wouldn't be the only option for them.

Ok I've seen this one a few times too. What do you think glamour is for? Glamour pieces are designed to be single-use. You make one (or buy one), and stick it in the dresser. What, to you, is an acceptable use rate for a glamour piece? And what constitutes a "use" to you?

As for "vocal minority" .... the entire bloody forum is a vocal minority. You are, I am, all of us are. The percentage of players that actively use the forums is tiny.

Wouldn't it be better for each gender to fairly get glam specifically for them than going back to older glam to adjust them for bodies they were never meant for? I'm assuming you at least took that from my comment.

I'm actually rather glad this forum isn't representative of the whole community. Idk how long I could play this game if the behavior I see here is common

I would have quit years ago if the forum community was the larger part of the game community. It's pretty bad up in here.

    Why would it?

Let me cite another game with a far superior glamour system: WoW. In WoW all visible gear is usable by everyone. Even class-specific gear is modeled for races that can't be that class. Want to see what the shaman tier 13 armor would look like on a Gnome? You can do that! There's no such thing as gender-specific gear at all there.

I can't imagine a good reason not to make visible gear usable by everyone. As for "adjust them for bodies they were never meant for" says who? The Krile outfit can be used by non-Lalafells. The Snow outfit can be used by not-Hyur. Hell my crafting glamour is Noctis' jacket. I'm a Viera.. it looks great on me. Was it originally designed to be used by a 7-foot tall bunny girl? It was not. But SE bothered to make it work in that instance. Why not in other instances?

The point is that male characters get more variety of long-coats. closed coats, open coats, and a shirtless coat. The only cross class glamour coat for females is
the one with their busts hanging out.

While I do like the looks of the female items on the Mogstation. They all show skin.

And if the Devs did make a Mogstation coat (which I doubt) it will most likely have an exposed bust.
