I accept the definition of end-game content.
I agree there is little end-game content in FF14.

There's many people trying to change the definition, or deny the lack of end-game content, I will disagree with them.

However, I disagree with the notion that lack of end-game is a problem.
Thank you. Though I'll still have to disagree that the lack of endgame is a problem. So we will just have to agree to disagree on that front.

As while I do enjoy plenty of the non endgame content in the game, there are also plenty of times I want stuff that is challenging to do at level cap. In XI, I never had this problem until post abysea and adoulin as those changed the formula to the now typical perpetual gear ladder/treadmill design that MMOs default to.

Its weird now that I think about it more, I wasn't really doing Dynamis, Assault, (whatever WoGs was), just working on all the varied and obtuse quests and just wandering the world which is a whole heck of a lot less endgame than XIV, but yet there was also a lot more to it at the same time. ARR had the same feel to it originally. There was something different to the overall feel, though its hard to put my finger specifically on what caused that difference. One main thing for certain was challenge and danger was more prevalent.

To me XIV is definitely lacking something in the endgame content front. In XI I was as likely to be chilling in Xi Tah as I was trying to do something crazy like soloing Ose or some other high end usefull NM for the heck of it. XIV... theres gear grinds, with the only real challenge being how consistently you perform once figure out a couple mechanics here and there.
