Is there data showing that AST buffing scales better than whm personal dps? I understand that buff scales with ilevel but so does whm? Where can I see that AST does in fact out scale, since this was not the first time I hear this claim?

Well, my guess is that the rDPS contributed by AST scales multiplicative with the entire raid getting geared better. Everyone who gears up increases AST rDPS.
