Please let PS4 parse our dps like pc

Games are made for both Casual and hardcore players, challenging versions of content exist for that exact reason. You can cruise through all normal content but Savage and the like require the player to bring their A-Game. Just because it's a game doesn't mean the effort of those players who put the work in should be dismissed.

You're right, they shouldn't be dismissed. But they shouldn't receive privileges that violate the ToS.

Parsers aren't a violation of the ToS.

Apparently not, as it's been done multiple times in this very thread. Maybe they take it more seriously in-game. I do report everyone I see who mentions using one.

I'm not advocating for Parsers. Simply stating that they exist and if they were so egregious SE would step in and get rid of them. Everyone violates the ToS one way or another even if they don't realize it because most people skip reading them in order to play the game.

The simple answer to this post is PS4 players can blame the fact they'll never get a Parser on the misfortune of their birth.

If one or more players are performing poorly in a group environment, there are indeed weak links. And those weak links are making the game not as enjoyable to the rest of the group.

A long long time ago, my guild raided in Vanilla WoW, cleared Naxx long before 2.0 Came out. Then they cleared Sunwell pre-nerfs in Burning Crusade. We then kept clearing difficult and challenging content as each expansion came out, beat 'impossible odds' with achievements like Death's Demise in Ulduar on Yogg'saron etc. We lost some players to RL issues and in turn gained new ones. We enjoyed the challenge, why we performed our best and expected all of those who wanted to raid to do so as well. We kept all the server firsts due to our skill and do believe they still keep all the server first even now years after I left them. My guild wouldn't be as top as they still are, if didn't remove the weak links. We didn't want to spend weeks to clear an encounter, we wanted hours or days while at the same time reveling in the challenge since found it fun.

But even though we were considered hardcore raiders, we had hundreds of players. Most friend rank, only a dozen or so hardcore raiders. Once we cleared the content for the week, we would log into alts and then bring in friend ranked members to let them see the content, and then, and only then did we deal with the wipes if they happened, but most times we carried happily. Alas, we all knew they could never experience the hardest and most challenging content, but they were fine with that.

The point is, yes it's a game, but when it comes to a game where you rely on others to progress, there is always a chance at weak links. Using methods to remove said weakness is fine in my book, especially if the weak link cannot improve to be up to par with the rest of the members. Weak links can drag you down and make you miserable, there's nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy the game and removing the source that prevents that.

Your parses were pointed out when you tried to make yourself look like some god-tier ultimate slayer that was better then 99% of the PC player base. You got slapped with a dose of reality, that clearing EX content =/= good. People in this thread don't give 2 craps about you having grey parses, they just care you won't own up to it.

You're absolutely right. That's why people who form "statics" and actually set schedules for video games confuse me greatly. Perhaps people like to pretend it's a job and choose not to enjoy the game. Not sure.

Im going to assume youve atleast done the extremes at a bare minimum or I have no idea why you are even in this thread arguing one way or the other.

So operating under that assumption if you join a Titania group and you keep hitting enrage, she keeps 1 shotting everyone and you keep repulling. What is your metric for this situation, to shower your group with kind words and encouragement and hope that somehow whichever person clearly doesnt know what they are doing magically finds the answer from your positivity because thats not how it works and I know you dont operate under the delusion thats how that works. So how do you handle that? Do you just ASSUME all the players but you are bad because you have no metric to prove it one way or the other.

Im not saying you use the meter to call anyone out but atleast if you know its not you you can drop and rejoin another group. But lets say it is you or some other newer player. The game gives you all of 0 information that you are playing badly, but it still lets you in the highest end content, in order to smear your face on the floor over, and over and over again. You dont think that would upset people? this has nothing to do with statics just joining regular parties. Or should these players all just be RPing in Lominsa?

the available 4 man content is not a good endgame to an mmo least of all this one given we were wall pulling on day 1.
