So, Tsubame is even WORSE at lining up now...

After my first rotation, I'm finding it's lagging behind by 3-4 seconds when before it lined up decently well... so, I have to hold off my Meikyo for a GCD so I'm not sitting there waiting. Not to mention it feels really awkward with a gcd after second iaijutsu.

That may be a problem with your opener style? I personally use a 2 sen one where I Hakaze>Yukikaze (for that 20 kenki), Hakaze>Shifu>Kasha, Hagakure (which put me at about 70 kenki), Hakaze>Jinpu>Gekko>Kaiten>Higanbana

Once I have the dot on I go straight into Meikyo Shuisui and Yukikaze>Shinten>Shinten>Kasha>Gekko>Kaiten>Midare Setsugekka>Kaieshi: Setsugekka>Ikishoten>Senei

After that it's standard combo rotation with weaving in the Shinten as usual. I haven't worked out the exact timing on when to reapply dot or Meikyo yet since the change, but when I tried it out on the striking dummy this morning I had absolutely no problems having all the kenki I could want.

I see where you are coming from now, sorry, had to break it into some numbers. But does it worth to use hagakure like that and delay ikishoten and senei for that long? I am using 1 sen, higanbana opener.

No worries at all! And personally, I think so. You get your Shifu buff very quickly, but don't have to waste time fumbling with a Midare before continuing your opening. The 2 sen rotation is one I used all through stormblood... I simply couldn't get the hang of 1 or 3 sen openers... and it's served me very well as an excellent compromise between speed and efficiency. The Hagakure for sen management is critical though lol.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but the only reason to use Hagakure now would be if you lost your buffs but still have your Sen, so that you could start over on the rotation but get 15 Kenki, no? Since it only gives 5 Kenki per Sen, it would just be better to hold on to your Sen otherwise for a Midare, correct?
