Depends entirely on how you use it. As I said above, on the right opener it's critical for a smooth flow. But I acknowledge that most people don't use the opener I do. I couldn't make the standard ones everyone was using work so I made my own.So correct me if I'm wrong, but the only reason to use Hagakure now would be if you lost your buffs but still have your Sen, so that you could start over on the rotation but get 15 Kenki, no? Since it only gives 5 Kenki per Sen, it would just be better to hold on to your Sen otherwise for a Midare, correct?
Correct, mostly. Using it on 3 Sen before was seen as converting it into access to 3 Shinten, which was a potency gain over time compared to using the Sen on Midare. Now? 15 Kenki from 3 Sen is not worth it in the middle of a fight, 5 Kenki is NOT worth losing any Sen. The only times I would consider it worth it is when you need to reset your rotation, if you messed up that bad, you have downtime and have to reset before it comes back, or you are in a dungeon and going between pulls or going into a boss with Sen.So correct me if I'm wrong, but the only reason to use Hagakure now would be if you lost your buffs but still have your Sen, so that you could start over on the rotation but get 15 Kenki, no? The way I am looking at it right now is: Seigen costs 15 kenki. Is losing 3 Sen for a Seigen (200 potency) worth it? I don't think so. If you look at Shinten 15 Kenki converts into 180 potency, even lower.
You may be able to get it too work for your rotation but using Hagakure now is a straight DPS loss. Its best not to use it in battle, from what I can see, and should definitely not be used on CD like before.
Also, starting with Yuki and not Ka combo? First time I've seen that.
Honestly? No. You need to convert the Kenki into potency and compare it if you do and don't use it. 1 Shinten costs 25 Kenki at 300 potency. Each Sen gives 5 Kenki with Hagakure, which is equal to 60 potency. Up to you if you think 60 potency is worth it. I don't think it is.

Nope, you're correct. It's something to use between pulls or doing phase transitions to clear sen so you can start fresh and not overlap a sen to reapply buffs. So correct me if I'm wrong, but the only reason to use Hagakure now would be if you lost your buffs but still have your Sen, so that you could start over on the rotation but get 15 Kenki, no? Yeah. I know. It's weird. Though I'm honestly surprised by HOW weird it apparently is. Official rotations and I don't get along. I spent hours at the striking dummy trying to get them to work and could never manage it. My 2 sen opener was my solution to the problem. Granted, it's not optimal, but it does work well for pretty much everything except maybe savage raiding.
