I was asking to hear hopes and ideas about the future, not have some ____ pick two sentences out of a long post and have it become the entire topic of discussion.

Why so mad?

I guess you don't like the fact that your entire post back-fired on you. Nobody is going to post their "Ideas for the future" here because that's what the ENTIRE board is for. Take a look at the first page of threads everyone has a thread about their ideas for the future and hopes, dreams, hates, dislikes and the such. Your post is redundant.

To be more on-topic of your post about the player search. If the player search was that amazing and intuitive that it was a better option than just plain shouting...people would start using it. Hell if everyone used the player search it would be a good system but even if it was in the game from day 1 the same problems would still exist.

People need to actually express their intent to do ____ content, 9/10 times people don't usually go that far to say they are ready and willing to do someting. Hell most my Stronghold parties and Ifrit runs come from my interest being piqued when I see a group almost ready to go and shouting for one of my jobs.

I guess I might as well start telling people that breathing is what keeps them alive, the point is so obvious and known to all that it doesn't even need to be stated. Of course how we play the game will change how the community grows...guh your getting bent out of shape because you are grasping at a reason to even have a thread like this.

I hope and dream people will stop making redundant threads.

You state that the purpose the forums as a whole is to offer a place players can offer hopes and dreams openly. Yet when I go to use a portion of it to do just that for myself, here you are. It could easily be said that 99% of all the posts on here, including the ones you are making to me right now, are redundant, so don't go excusing yourself from the same boat everyone is on together. If you really hope and dream for less redundant threads than stop posting.
And one jackass responding to my op isn't enough to ruin it, its still there and strong, you only highlight the state at which I believe these forums are in now. It doesn't make me mad Jynx. If anything, you make me feel sad. That you would hope to jump in here with that intent in mind speaks volumes about what type of person you are. And in that respect I believe you have accomplished what you set out to do, so see your way out, I am done responding to you.

Good enough, my posts are redundant in a redundant thread. I never said I wasn't in the same boat but this thread doesn't serve much of a pupose that hasn't been stated allready.

You call me out for apparantly "Missing the point" and when I respond to the "Missed point" you skip over it because you don't seem to agree. It's lovely that people who don't align with your ideals are "Jackasses" I responded to your post and your all upset or "Not upset but sad" about it.

But I would like to know.

"Speaks volumes for the type of person you are" What kind of person would that be exactly? The kind of person who doesn't think the community needs someone telling them (Your doing it wrong guys! Exemplify as a ambasador of good in the world!)

If you think I'm something else I'd love to hear it.

Other than that I await for this amazing and innovative thread to garner tons of imformation.

It's funny to note that without our little altercation here this thread would have allready fallen off the front page. So if anything my "Jackassery" has allowed more people to see your message than it would have without it.

Just something to think about. Any conversation in a thread is in a way "Good" for it.
