I think Scholar has just changed in a jarring way. You have no crowd control (Shadowflare) now, you can't force the fairy to focus Embrace on the tank because it can't be bound to the hotbar anymore, you can't spread DoTs while Adlo and Excognition are up and then heal, Rouse is gone, etc. Sacred Soil has regen now and a lot of potencies were increased so the job is plenty powerful, but so much change.
