If I got a house with a place for outdoor furnishings (and maybe a nice view) at the end of it, I'd tank Nidhogg naked while dancing the Popoto. Crafting or buying stuff to turn in for upgrades ain't nothin. In fact, I actually like that and it sounds fun.
Really just a random thought that had come to mind. As it stands atm players getting the funds to buy a plot of land for a house in a housing area is fairly easy for far more people than we have plots and it will likely stay that way even with a new zone opening unless they suddenly triple the amount of wards in each area. However it may make some pause atleast a moment if they actually had to build their house on the plot of land rather than just plop one on there like the current zones.

I agree, it might. But even then, the real problem with housing imo is the lack of supply at the moment. Instancing could solve that and then housing could act as the gil sink its intended as, since ppl will actually have the opportunity to spend money on it instead of just look at filled neighborhoods all day and dream. And I'm serious about liking the crafting aspect you brought up. I don't necessarily think the instanced plot should be free and simply a quest reward, nor the house on it. My main issue right now is that getting a house has almost nothing to do with working for it. If saving a couple million gil and leveling a crafter for my own house is all I'd have to do for it, I'll do it gladly. lol I sincerely love those kind of upgradable building/settlement type things. Which is why I am sure I'll love the Ishgard rebuild stuff in the first place. Its just also a great opportunity to add a solve for the housing shortage, imo.Really just a random thought that had come to mind. Unless maybeoliver is the only person in the FC, its not an abuse of the system just because you don't like it. Any FC that is able to co-ordinate and own an entire housing district should be proud of it. Thats moer effort than handing something out to people because it gives them a feelsgoodman.jpgNot only did you mistake me for someone else, but the only one "disappointing" is you.
Seriously. How dare you abuse this system in this manner. It's not enough that you did this but you parade about it in your signature as well.
The only type of person that does this is one that doesn't care about anyone but themselves. That's the real disappointment.

That's people not even owning their own house, so yes they all belong to the FC owner, so yes that is abuse. They removed this function later and this individual is still hording up very limited options all to themselves due to a previous exploit that was patched later.Unless maybeoliver is the only person in the FC, its not an abuse of the system just because you don't like it. Anyone with a conscious would feel bad about doing this. Not this person, however, and seemingly not you either.
They own an entire housing district! There is nothing to feel bad about. People with money tend to have more than what others with no money do, so stop coveting what someone else has and demanding they have less because that is the only thing to feel bad about. That's people not even owning their own house, so yes they all belong to the FC owner, so yes that is abuse. I think they should change the housing scene.
Stop with the same routine and give something new for a housing idea its time to change to give people something better for everyone instead of a certain amount of people with the same idea they've been doing since realm reborn.
I couldn't care less about housing because that lets me come and go as I please like I am about to take a 4 month break and well i can do that because I dont own a house.

Its this question:
Just click the blue arrow box next to Emmanellain's name to go to the post in the live letter thread and leave a like there if you support it.Could it be possible for every player to earn an instanced medium-sized house through the rebuilding Ishgard storyline? That way, no players will be left homeless if they participate, most players see Ishgard as their home, and it would be lovely if everyone could live there and not just an exclusive few.![]()
