I recommend you try playing some more games. Not all of us come from a healer only background. If that is the way you enjoy your healers that's up to you. Personally I have found this healer only thing weird and contrary to most of the RPG's and MMO RPG's I have played in the past 20 years. So to correct your Statement

Honestly might as well just scrap Atherflow altogether. We only have 4 abilities that currently use it not like its going to be a tough decision to make. Give them a charge of 3 that the 4 abilities share and it refreshes once a min no mana regen. Those abilities still fill the fairy bar but only if we are in combat sounds fair. Move the mana regen to lucid and call it a day.

Scrap the summon buttons all together and just have the fairy pop when you change classes to scholar with the ability to glamour it. She is just a gimped part of our toolkit at this point that we get punished for if we die. At a minimum make her instant-cast like the summoners pets.

Rescue can also be removed its a nice toy but honestly if they don't get their butts out of the fire its on them.

Repose - can go aside from the quest its useless. Correction - this spell could be fun on long pulls if you want to piss off your tank and probably your dps too.

Consolation - I dont see the reason to manually cast these since I'm summoning her for this specific reason. I think the fairy should just auto cast them. First on on summon and then again when she de-spawns or 10 sec after summon. To those who are like but that takes our choices away. Seriously shes only available for 20 sec and you summoned her for this ability.

old mmos had separate stats for healing power and damage power, you are free to do there hybrid or pure healer like in wow vanilla, but hybrids was never taken to raids or arenas
no1 ever take hybrid priest for raid, every1 wanted pure holy priest there with 100% healing power and 0 damage ...

I’ve never played WoW, so I can’t comment or know what they wanted. But I know in EQ 1&2 if you were not dpsing enough you lost your raid spot, didn’t matter if you could heal the content or not. So again different experiences.

That's a bad example. In Vanilla WoW a Paladin was always a buffbot. Want to tank? NOPE. Also, you would bring a Shadow priest...not as a DPS, but as a mana battery for the real healers(tm). In Vanilla WoW if you wanted to tank...you played a Warrior. The end. Rolled Druid? Tough luck, you're a healer. Paladin? Nope, buffbot. There's a reason that MMOs as a whole (including WoW) moved away from that model...because it sucked.

In fact, let's be frank: 90% of people who think they're nostalgic for WoW Classic aren't....they're nostalgic for early Wrath (specifically pre-dungeon finder)...where you could be a viable hybrid, FYI.

There aren't even that many though buttons and most aren't even unnecessary. If anything I want more things to click.

I used 3 full cross hotbars in ARR as a SCH. I barely use 2 now.

I don't know what to add here, because well, wow, everything is flying. But I will add this little tidbit. Besides the usual issues being presented, one thing I don't see people mention a lot, is SCHs lack of spammable heals. Granted in the old "complete" kit spammability wasn't important, but with the changes SE keeps making it's becoming more of an issue. So what about changing ETs effect to be similar to Planery Indulgence. This way if needs be you can spam Adlo or Succor, at those times where several Cure II/Benefic II or Medica/Helios would be nice but SCH doesn't have access to those spell tiers.

Lucid Dreaming is a "are you paying attention" check. Removing the need to think about it just further dumbs down the role, and I do not recommend making it passive.

This is the WORST reasoning possible. A button you are required to push every x seconds no matter what is happening, so keep it to prove some players are "better".
Its garbage. There is no reason it can't just be passive and then you don't need to bother.
