Lack of End Game Content

The problem here is comparing this game to other MMOs. FF14 isn't trying to copy the whole "game only really starts at end game" formula. The story is the game. End game is the end.

I think that's the gripe I have. The game has all the potential in the world to offer a game that starts at end game, but restricts itself to the formula.
