Again, this information is publicly available. So how does it constitute as a privacy concern?

Combat log data is available immediately to everyone that gets you in a party. PC users have a copy saved locally on their computer (which also includes all chat logs for that day). None of this is sensitive information like date of births, social security numbers or even things like addresses that can directly identify who you are as a person.
If I didn't type my posts and click the "post reply" button on the forum.... but somehow my posts still get posted.... it might be a privacy concern?
And if I didn't explicitly allow Square to publicize my character data as they see fit on their website, it certainly would.
But those are of course silly examples that you're using as a strawman.

Howevere fflogs isn't part of my agreement with Square.
It's a separate thing that is collecting data that can be used to indirectly identify me, and thus is subject to EU data collection laws.

And it's not that I even really care about fflogs myself.
I just found it weird (and a bit funny) so many people are so very sure it's all legal, when it's clearly not.
Just accept it's not fully legal in every country, be happy or sad it's small enough to be ignored, and don't be surprised when people complain about it.

Those laws only apply to your personal information. Once again, your dps is not "personal information", your character name is not "personal information".

All aspects of the Game (including but not limited to the Game computer code, updates, patches, expansion packs, characters, character names, character data, virtual items, character profile information, (non-personal) account information, chat transcripts, artwork, plot, dialogue, locations, sounds and music) are owned by Square Enix or its licensors. You do not have any property rights in the service account you use to play the Game ("FINAL FANTASY XIV Service Account" or "FFXIV Service Account").
As for using parsers. Yoshi P himself said it's OK as long as people don't talk about it in game.

I posted a link and added quotes that show what those laws apply to.
They apply "whenever information directly or indirectly identifying you as an individual is stored or processed".
Where does it say it has to be information you'd personally consider personal?

Most everything you've said up until now has been your opinion. However, this is most certainly incorrect. If you are unfamiliar with the subject matter it is more than acceptable to do some research before making outlandish claims.

No arguments there. My stance is that this is a matter of privacy. It is all semantics at this point.

Although FFlogs themselves they could be reported to the EU for violating privacy laws. Of course it would be rather outrageous, but still possible.

Yes that link literally states in multiple places situations where your PERSONAL information can or cannot be collected/reused/processed/etc.

I get what you're saying, but just a heads up here. They can write whatever they want in the tos, but there are real laws protecting users' rights. No ToS can override that. Even if you signed it.

Not Talking about anything particular, just general information.

Can't claim privacy on that which you don't own, though.

Well, their lawyers were the ones who wrote that. And it makes perfect sense. You're using their platform, generating data using their platform. They have every right to own it. If you used a camera software and in their TOS they explicitly stated they will collect the pictures you take and you agreed to it before you used the software, then that's on you, the user. We're not talking about adding outrageous stuff in the TOS like "you owe us 1000$ for each use of the app". But things that you have to willfully supply to them.

Did you read the article that aiqa posted? It literally states that it applies to "personal information." So before you question my familiarity with the subject matter how about to actually try and contribute and show us some facts that base your opinion? I am interested in reading them.
