That's probably the most accurate portrayal I've seen yet. I can see them more toned as the ladies are pretty toned themselves.

Looks like a good height to me, and I wouldn't mind having a tone slider, either.
There are a lot of people who absolutely want male viera to be taller than the females - no questions asked, but what's so bad with the max height males being and inch or two shorter than the max height females? And this is coming from someone who doesn't care if male viera were taller, shorter, or the same height as females.

I'm not against either of those pictures. Maybe smaller biceps, but it's not so bad. Someone showed a comparison with female elezen and female viera. This comparison showed that the shoulders for the female elezen were wider than the female viera. So if male viera are implemented in the game, I'm going to guess they might make their shoulders less wide than male elezen which I would totally be for.
The second one is a nice close up - it shows that they have a rabbit-like facial structure. Or something similar to miqo'te.

As long as the male viera are slim, and just a little bit shorter than the female viera, I think that would be cool. The female viera are pretty tall in general, so even if the males are a little shorter, they'd still look cool.

When you're adding differences of 2 inches just to tack on some semblance to rabbits which isn't even required by the lore, you have to wonder what is the point? Stretching the height slider further down would do a better job of it than token gestures such as that.

IMO, they probs just gave urianger a different body cus they probably already working on male viera and have that done, so why not use it? (and plz, no illuminati male viera pic this time ;p)

Also, the pecs on that male viera O.o. Gimme that concept and u got 500 fantasias from me so I can change my face every 30 minutes

Because it's completely pointless. It won't appease the crowd who want them to be at similar height levels to Miqo'te, plus I don't see the justification for it other than recourse to rabbits. If SE wants to emphasise their "leporine" affinity they can better do so through their movement and facial customisation options... and I suppose the optional tuft of chest fur.

The only people it would appease are those who want them to follow an obscure (to the vast majority) element of rabbit physiology for the sake of it.

I don't really mind either way as long as it doesn't reach or even come near to Au Ra levels of dimorphism. Man, how I wish the the devs would have stuck with the original height and proportions for Au Ra ladies.
