pretty sure female Hrothgar was going to use femroe body type. Unless the devs want to slap some tits on male roebody, which sounds hilarious!

I wouldnt mind male roegadyn base personally ,but makes absolutely 0 sense from resource prespective. Theyll just be texture modded femroes, and male viera will likely be male miqote with taller option, female viera animations combined with some male miqote ones and slightly edited to make me look somewhat different, and rabbit ears with probs some scaleless male au ra faces. Tbh, I doubt they're even going to change anything from the body so they wotn have to refit gear, and my jaw would drop if they could have more than racial hairstyles and could wear headgear (meaning no gear resizing a.k.a, it comes down to making a frankenstine a le mod style, editign a few textures, making a couple hairstyles, making a racial gear, which I think will be extremely close to their other sex counterpart to save on resources, animating and calling it a day). Its basically what they did with female viera, they are female miqote with edited faces and rabbit ears

I truly believe its 6.0 or bust for their inclusion in ffxiv because by 7.0+ they may look at their 3rd MMO thus resources would start to be diverted.

I too believe that its either 6.0 or nothing. A MMO will not go on forever and if they put them in years down the line (like four years from now if its 7.0) it could just be that they are not bringing back in the costs they have produced to be created. And as you said, the amount of items will just be more and more.

I think that entirely depends. WoW added multiple new races after like 14-15 years. Who says if they really wanted to add them they couldn't just work on them sparingly over a longer period of time?

I dont see it that way personalyl. It takes 1.5 years t omake the genders we currently have, considering that it would take less time to make the missing ones, I think that its very likely we will get them on 6.0

I personally get excited for things, even if they arent granted, and If I egt disapointed I have at least been excited for a while. Id encourage yo uall to do the same (ofc, not forcing you to do anything, but I think this can make things easier in ur lives

I don't see 7.0+ as viable for their addition looking at all the limitations on just female Viera and male Hrothgar now add 2 more expansions worth of gear and oh boy we are looking at much worse Limitations, 1 more expansion worth of stuff is going to add more limitations like maybe no feet are allowed to be shown, 2 faces for male Viera/female Hrothgar etc.

Same with texture updates. The longer they delay it, the costlier it becomes and the more its expected return on investment falls. I’d think that for it to be viable, it’d need to be during 6.0.

As for their 3rd MMO, I wouldn’t get any hopes up given their comments on what they envision it’d be like - sounds like a very different beast to XIV.
