I completely disagree, and I actually thought RDM was significantly more fun in XI at the lower levels when they introduced Fields of Valor, allowing me to have a mobile camp with a smaller group. Waiting for a puller was a huge waste of time. I don't agree that it allows for more roles to be played. The only thing you're missing is the "puller" and you still even have that in the form of a "scout" or first attacker, basically the one who leads the charge and picks the mob that everyone should be fighting. It's the same thing pretty much just without the time spent doing nothing.

Yes I do realize in the upper levels of XI you would get a constant stream of mobs that kept your attention but if you were a mage you would stay in the same place and never move. We have legs for a reason, the combo system works the way it does (especially for Pugilists) for a reason, and XIV's system is way better than the hurry up and wait system of XI.
