Even still, incoming damage is still predictable so you have to force yourself to use the Afflatus spells, making them counterintuitive to the flow of the job. Essentially, it encourages a sit and wait to heal play style because you can’t use them to react as quickly as an oGCD heal.

Furthermore, as we progress through content, gear up, and learn mechanics, these spells will replace Cure II and Medica entirely, so why are they even there?

Lilies are still better off being ignored rather than being used as they generate, making Misery feel like a minor reward for a tedious chore.

    ...

We still don’t have viable raid utility.

Lilies are useless from level 52-72.

We have no abilities that boost our healing power until Asylum, forcing us to be healbots in lower level content.

Notice I haven’t even mentioned DPS capabilities. This is just the healing kit.

    Need I go on?
You're saying instant Cure II and Medica are bad things now? Also you don't need to "force" yourself to do anything in this game. If raid-wide damage occurs, typically I'll finish what I'm casting, throw up Divine Benison and Glare once more, then use my instant aoe heal once it's available. It's very satisfying imo.

They don't replace anything, they have a cost that runs out if you use them too much. We also still have Cure I and no one's complaining about that.

Misery feels like compensation for taking time to heal which I really appreciate.

We also out-dps SCH and AST by a large margin. Pretty sure it's an intentional design decision to not provide raid utility in exchange for personal dps. Kinda like Black Mage.

Even without Blood Lily, having instant heals is a godsend for me personally, so no they aren't useless.

You're complaining about not having heal boosts while other people are complaining about healing being far too easy. Pick one side.

As far as dps goes, we lost Aero III. Shrug

Everything I didn't reply to I mostly agree with.
