Why do we need 5 AoE heals? I get that Medica II is a HoT and Assize does damage too, both spells are fantastic but that still leaves 3 AoE heals. I think the WHM's kit has a bit too much redundancy.

Only just got WHM to 74 and it feels about the same as always. My MP hasn't dropped below half on any encounter so far, outside a terrible Titania fight.
I have had squish tanks that I had to babysit their health rather than DPS, as well as Tanks that just outright fail to grab aggro on everything but neither is really new to me and while I have had moments in which Bene is used much more liberally than before, I haven't had any particular issue with WHM at all.
That isn't to say its perfect. Lilies are overly abundant for me when I get great Tanks that actually perform their jobs marvelously that Regen/Asylum/DB keep them going without much intervention from me. Would be nice to have a way to spend those extra stacks for some utility or something.
The Afflictus Spells being on the GCD has been a bit of a learning curve for me as well but I expect to get the hang of them soon enough.
Overall, I'm not experiencing any real issue with WHM and doubt it'll be a problem in higher content.
Glare and Dia look awesome in my opinion.

besides just a skin change? We went from "lulz WHM just throw stones" to "lulz WHM just throw white balls" I guess it goes well with my King's cane and all the nut sacks I've been collecting in this expansion.

Afflatus Rapture feels kinda weak without Plenary Indulgence (well, medica too). Maybe give lily skills a crit chance
still would prefer lily spells being off gcd
aero 3 animation returning and some party utility wont hurt as well
Obviously there isn't much difference other than Dia having a longer duration which is nice. I was just saying that the new spells look fantastic in my opinion. It's a fresh upgrade from years of throwing stones and air.Mmkay. So they look nice. What's the difference between:

Also, I almost feel like WHM has the same "problem" as SCH with the Faerie Gauge when it comes to the Blood Lily. You need to spend Lilies to get the Blood Lily but you don't really have a "dump" spell.

I'm really liking WHM. I feel more like a green dps than ever lol. Doing titania and Inno ex and I barely ever need to use cure 2 if everyone is doing mechanics right. The new Afflatus spells are pretty great and I actually like them being on GCD as it lets me weave some ogcds easier.
WHM feels good, idk why ppls have problem with healers, im dpsing myself as much i can but healer main role is healing not dpsing

Looking at some of the posts there are a few issues I see and I think its people not utilizing their full toolkit.
1. You shouldn't have MP issues you get a free cure 2 every 30 sec. If you need to cast more than one cure 2 to keep someone alive pop thin air first. Don't save thin air for rez if people are dying that is the issue to fix. Make sure to use Benediction, Tetra, Benison, Assize, and Asylum.
2. Use Confessions with your AOE. Note that it is not consumed when used. This means you can cast medica 2, and two Afflatus each with an extra 200 potency, this adds 600 potency on top of all of these skills (this is guaranteed to full heal any group)
3. Your Wings grant a damage mitigation buff to the entire party so when you know big AoE damage is coming up pop before and precast Med 2 for that extra HoT
