Tbh you best let go of the "dps healer" mentality soner than later. Healer have been shifted towards more focus on the actual healing, so as Long as you keep clinging to you dps past you're Just gonna be holding the group back.

I don't think that's the case, remember that we are at the start of a new expansion and the ilvl is just the required one to just enter a dungeon/trial at this point.
Yes, we can see the shift in focus more on the heal and the fact that i had to use even the emergency heal skills in a normal dungeon proves that.
Anyway i say let's reach level 80 and get some better gear before we throw this kind of messages around.
This can be discussed on the role subforum if you really want to engage in a good discussion and not throw random text .

There is no limit that can not be passed
Exactly this, it's a new expansion newer stronger enemies they need to add some semblence of danger and make healers and tank feel abit more cautiously the first few times ina dungeon until they are geared for it, but eh who am I kidding people these days never give anything a chance, my bf for example is alrdy dps'n while healing and we've had no wipes so far.I don't think that's the case, remember that we are at the start of a new expansion and the ilvl is just the required one to just enter a dungeon/trial at this point.

The only thing they did was give everything a stacking invuln debuff. That is all. The reason healing is hard is now virtually the other players fault for not dodging properly. Hope you guys have strong backs. From a tanking perspective, it seems like the other responsibility is thrown on us as well, much less self healing it seems, and sometimes saving a wipe is left to our ability to group mitigate/mitigate the healer/mitigate the other tank if they dont dodge. All thats left now is to add some near impossible dps checks, and youll have the biggest flamestorm of blaming x or y person for x or y thing. Already seeing it now, in new trials and dungeons.Exactly this, it's a new expansion newer stronger enemies they need to add some semblence of danger and make healers and tank feel abit more cautiously the first few times ina dungeon until they are geared for it, but eh who am I kidding people these days never give anything a chance, my bf for example is alrdy dps'n while healing and we've had no wipes so far.
Also, the trust healers all DPS all of them.
Um, Stone Vigil and 1000 maws of Totorak are like equally terrible because it's basically one extreme or the other. It's just going from stressfully casting Benefic II for forever to mind-numbingly casting Malefic infinitely. Both are super bad at max level
Also, I despise the very idea that hlrs and buffing classes have to be just useless and unable to level without big, strong axemen and armored knights just to be treated as "silly heal/buff slut". It's just way too illogical to have a military or combat role like a combat medic and not offer to train them to use weapons, and I refuse to just sit and wait for for you to get a booboo to do something. So, if I have any down time: I'm using malefic, AB, or buffs
