True, but in the context of "your hands and micromovements" and Cpu frequency has nothing to do with settings a games refresh rate at above your monitors display frequency doing absolutely nothing beneficial.

Games can certainly be tied to refresh rates. I know fighting games are, skyrim breaks hilariously above 60fps, and xivs physics get toned down above 60fps as well.

You can run a game at a higher refresh rate than your monitor can display, you will still only see as many frames as your panel can display in hz.

Correct, I think they believe that actions are frame rate dependent in FF14. I don't know that this is the case, or that it would matter given the GCD.

I don't know what they think honestly. It all came out as "you have hands and they have micromovements" and "cpus have a 2,000,000 to 5,000,000hz range", and somehow that means running a 60hz panel at 100hz+ means you can do things behind the scenes... Or something...

If playing a game that tied execution of actions to FPS... then you actually could do input quicker than having the game locked at 60FPS. If the game is not set up that way then no.

Edit: I've played FF14 at 60 FPS, 120 FPS, and 144 FPS. I never noticed a difference in input speed. But I definitely appreciate the smoothness of the action (especially when moving camera).
