Yeah, I really wish people would stop that.
Incorrect, I'm here to support Viera which is the purpose of the OP. Anyone that doesn't support them that's on them, and they're not wrong for not supporting male Viera as I've stated before.
But you're not going to force me or anyone else to support Hrothgar either, they were a mistake, my stance won't change.
PS. There were a loud handful that didn't want (female) Viera as well, they were very very loud. It really didn't matter because the devs are the ones who ultimately make the decision.

I admit I'm concerned about hrothgar faces being tied to their hair, but we should wait until launch to make any judgments on that. I don't see anything wrong with hrothgar aside from that, though. A lot of people wanted a beast race.
At this stage, I hope that both the races added do well, so that it gives them an incentive to add the missing genders and also encourages them to invest more in character customisation enhancements going forward.
When the game's story becomes self-aware:
Okay guys, let's calm down here. Male viera or not is not that big of a deal. This thread sees huge activity when someone dangles some bait, and if you are wondering why people are looking at male viera supporters in a bad light it is, because of this. It's too much. I skimmed through like 5 or 6 pages just today! Just throw your support (or not), and be respectful of each other's view points and, I think SE would even look at this type of thing in a better light.
On a side note, I fully wonder what people who are so for male viera, and threaten to unsub or the like, would be doing if no new race(s) had been introduced this expansion at all. Were they playing the game with the expectation of male viera, before viera was even an announced race?
Well, I did make my first viera thread a few years ago so... I have requested it for a very long time personally.
I wouldn't unsub over it because I like this game.
Yes, but I've seen people threaten, or rather just say they will unsub if male viera don't get announced. Why were people who say something like this playing the game, if a race that was never in this game, and for a gender that never existed at all (or rather appeared before) in the first place? You can make a request and want something - which is the reason female viera were introduced in the first place, but I don't understand this other logic.

Although I'm not one of them, it's probably a mixture of reasons, but chiefly 1) dislike of the direction the game is taking with the reintroduction of gender-locks and 2) a feature they were expecting did not materialise, with nothing that sufficed to compensate for it in their eyes. Some probably think it never will now.Okay guys, let's calm down here. Male viera or not is not that big of a deal. For me, it's one less feature to draw me to the expansion. Not close to enough to being a dealbreaker, but people do look at expansions in terms of what they're adding in terms of how much value it provides to them. Some people do look at the direction the devs are taking a game in to decide whether to remain subbed.
I think the only thing that may come close to that for me is if they were to announce that they have no plans on updating existing race customisation options and have no plans to improve the textures in any of the upcoming expansions. Barring something like making it a f2p game or porting it to the Switch and then citing Switch limitations for not improving it, and other stuff like that. That'd also do it.

When the game's story becomes self-aware:
It's not like I would unsub because of no male viera, but is it wrong for other people to unsub because of it? It's their money and they're speaking with their wallets.
