Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

With this post and the one after, you show your true colors. Yes, I ask that you be patient for something that isn't promised to us because patience is a virtue not many have anymore. You encompass many in your blanket statement which is never good. If 6.0 comes around and you throw a big fit again over something that they specially said wasn't guaranteed, then you'll just paint this community in a horrible light. If that's how you want to do this, you go right ahead. It'll alienate people from your cause.

As for what I wanted, I had no real desire for new races, and my expectations were not really set on anything. Hrothgar was a pleasant surprise to me, and something I had wanted from early on in the game because it adds a beastly race that this mmo lacks. However what I wanted doesn't cloud my support for male viera. Although with each piece of lashing out you do, I grow less sympathetic. You can't accept opposing opinions. Also, yes, I'd like them to spend time on the missing models as well as the current ones. They won't be reusing assets. I don't know where you get that from but it's misguided.

I'm completely sure thwy will make everything from scartch when they already have the textures, base faces, ears, tails and body models for 2 new races. In fact, the 2 new models will start as a texture-less ball. Then, you are nobody to tell me that I can't complain about something in the game. If hrotgar was female only, and viera male only, I bet most of the nay sayers would be the ones complaining. Also, I pain the community in a horrible light? I really am surprised I have that much influence under a community. Seriously, this is not a reality show, so stop acting like if it was one. I have not said anything disrespectful to you on my last post, and I apologize if I do come as aggressive for some reason, but can you please save the attacks? I'm honestly growing quite tired of ppl on this thread attacking me every single time I say something. And ofc, not everything is a personaly attack on me, I know that

First off, you're the one attacking. I was sharing my view on setting realistic expectations. Also, I never said anything about a reality show. You're the one who starts this drama with people. You're the one making assumptions and being aggressive. You know what happens when you're aggressive? People stop being kind in return.

Neither you nor I can guarentee what they are going to do with male viera and female hrothgar. We don't work for SE. You can't possibly be completely sure. As for the sarcasm, do you see how it's hard to take you seriously and not aggressively? As for the rest, calling me a "nobody" just proves that you're going to be aggressive no matter what I say. You continue to make the assumption that if male Hrothgar wasn't included that I'd start whining. As I've stated for you on countless occasions, I would not take it as a sleight against me and would proceed to make a male viera if their aesthetic is something I liked. Stop attacking me and assuming things about me because you're angry.

The devs are not your friends, and trust me, they onyl care about the money. Then, ppl stop being kind? When have you been kind? You have been aggressive towards me since the beggining lol. I have said that male viera OR female hrotgar should have replaced what has came, and that I did not like the genderlocked races. 1 full race dosen't equal to me hating on male hrot xD. In some ways this thread is the gift that just keeps on giving.

My stance hasn't changed, though. I'd like to see the missing genders added at some point but if they aren't, I'm not too bothered. I'd urge others to adopt a similar stance to avoid disappointment. Desperately checking every day for a new sign that they're to be added isn't healthy and will just lead to contempt towards the game.

The development team aren't making any promises. It might not even be a high priority for them when weighed against future plans for the game.

No, you gave your opinion. I gave mine. Then you started ridiculing and attacking me because I didn't agree with you, saying things such as "I bet you got what you wanted" and "if it was the other way around you'd be complaining". You also state that the devs brought this upon themselves and that they basically deserve to get yelled at if they don't give you what you want by 6.0. Good job, you just pushed away one supporter for your cause. I hope you're proud.

Also, be patient? You are expecting ppl to be calmly and patiently waiting for 4 years for something that all the way back on 1.0 they were told they weren't gonna have to wait for ? (yes, they said no genderlocked races)

I waited nearly 6 years for a gunblade job before it was announced. I know a little something about patience. 1.0 and 2.0 are basically 2 different games, so I don't really count 1.0 with the current timeline.

They also never really said what we were getting at all as far as new races are concerned. Sure, they conducted a poll for 2.0 to see what was more appealing to the player base, but they ultimately went with what they felt was best for everyone and added 1 new, and full, race in Heavensward, and 2 different races (albeit with missing genders) to the game with Shadowbringers. Obviously not everyone agreed with the Shadowbringers race decisions, and the backlash was severe enough that Yoshi P himself decided to respond to the player base. It could be happening, but it also could not be. People got their answer.

There's...honestly not much more to say.
