First of all, I respect your opinion but please not the entitled card again. Then, if they were to announce it, I would still show support to show SE that it's worth it plus I'd say how I like them to beJust genuinely curious. If Yoshida/GMs tells you soon that VieraMale and Hrothgar Females will be added with 6.0 Expansion. Will you be accepting about that and let the thread die, or will you keep going on about this issue?
As I myself have come to accept they probably will add them in the next expansion personally as the Devs clearly has shown that they know you all want these race/genders. It just sounds like you do not, and are like myself when I was a kid and kept begging my parents for X or Y until they caved and gave in.
This is just how I personally view you guys who think making demands are like. Kids, impatient, entitled, demanding, self centered etc.
I want you all to get the stuff you guys want dont get me wrong. I just have different ways of looking on things and accept what I have/get.
I myself have quite a list of changes and additions I would love to see ingame, but I also know there is a thing called time and how much someone can actually do within that timespace. Not many MMOs comes out with several races and classes pr expansions. Usually it is 1 new race, or 1 new class.
I think that they might "confirm" It by saying things such as: male viera seem to be wantingt to leave the wood recently. Or: male viera are around your next areaSo I have a theory, I’ve mentioned it before and it COULD happen but then it couldn’t. So during ShB yoship states we will know that male viera exist due to npcs mentioning them. I wonder if we will get more in depth about their appearance. We might find out if they are taller than females, body type, the fur patch, proportions, etc. I’m hoping during this we will get some hints on if they are confirmed or not. I know I’m probably over exaggerating but why would they make more lore, even change the lore on male viera if they weren’t going to be added? Unless it’s just the same thing the dramaturge said.
Very valid points all around. I actually forgot that he said they'll be mentioned in the game/lore in Shadowbringers. This brings interesting possibilities/scenarios/mental visuals. We'll definitely know a lot more about male Viera; whether they talk about appearance or not is a different story though. I really hope they do so that we at least get a mental picture of what they look like, even if it's something hyperbolic like "they're tall as trees and imposing as coeurls. The tree you're standing next to might be a male Viera." Something poetic and exaggerated like that could give hints without being definitive if they want to be mysterious about it. Ultimately I just want them to confirm this look, it's just absolutely perfect and goes hand in hand with Viera's facial look and the clothing is open yet protective, specially the first two; they have that metal protection around the legs Viera are famous for and leather leg wear/upper body wear. This is what you don't see in the other male Viera art, you don't see a full, finished, and detail body:So I have a theory, I’ve mentioned it before and it COULD happen but then it couldn’t. Hmm I'd like to know how male vieras will look, and also how their racial gear will be. I'm hoping is as revealing as the females and is like a loincloth or something, that shows lots of skin but still feels protective and imposingVery valid points all around. There may be a possibility where we will see a Viera kit? A male kit at that... then they can chortle at the fact we couldn't tell the difference between the sexes regarding the children. If they're there I'll have to pay attention to flavour text, see if there are any hints given. Like how the doman children want to be adventurers, perhaps we will have something familiar which will begin to break down the whole 'Viera who leave the wood are bad.'
I really hope we do get to see Viera children considering that we're going to their nation/homeland. When we went to Au ra's homeland we got to see the children. I want to address the "you can't tell the gender when they're young" part of the lore, that's true in human children as well around that age. It's a very throwaway statement.
When has it ever been said we’re going to the viera homeland? Except for the city of fat miqo’te, all of the nations of the First have been destroyed. The Crystarium is new. Regardless, in an interview Yoshi or someone else said they wanted to see roegadyn children first.I really hope we do get to see Viera children considering that we're going to their nation/homeland. Speaking of the Crystarium, did anyone else notice that in the video being passed around from the tour that there is a much higher percentage of male miqo’te running around? I guess the cats of the First got around the gender problem.
While Viera in the Source live in Golmore Jungle, it seems that the Rak'Tika Greatwood is their homeland in the First, given the Nu Mou also live there. When has it ever been said we’re going to the viera homeland? As for the second point, I didn't! I wonder what other differences there are with the races between the First and Source.
I feel bad for reading that and immediately thinking it would be hilarious if we find out the the nu mou are the male versions of viera/viis.While Viera in the Source live in Golmore Jungle, it seems that the Rak'Tika Greatwood is their homeland in the First, given the Nu Mou also live there.

I re-watched the video I mentioned and counted 8 mystel men and 6 mystel women including 2 little girls. The mystel have a completely different naming convention than the miqo'te of the Source and unless men just have a higher representation, it looks like they have a 50/50 gender distribution and therefore slightly biologically more different. There seem to be more female drahn running around than the men but I don't think there's anything to read into with that but it's neat that they're present here when in our world they're from the other side of the globe.
There was concept art of children viera, both male and female, the male one was even shown at this year's art panel on EU fanfest, so maybe they show us a male child, which means we will likely get the males themselves laterI really hope we do get to see Viera children considering that we're going to their nation/homeland.
