Elegant is another one of those buzz words that don't mean anything. What's elegant to you can be grotesque to me. The only descriptors Yoshida should be talking about is concrete ones like tall and muscular, those are concrete. These subjective ones like Elegant don't do much. This is elegant but by your standards they're too rough I'm sure

I think those that called Square Enix liars already unsubbed, there's no need to worry about them.

I also like them in this concept art:

I like the ones on the right side, too. Their face is similar to the typical viera facial structure. They have an air of mystery about them like many woodland creatures of folklore, and also a certain elegance to them. To me, viera fit a fantasy, magical, woodland creature trope. I think a hulking, brutish looking viera doesn't really fit the theme.

They are not as buff as the picture Theodore posted shows. They look lean and fit in the concept art, and I think it's perfect. Elegant isn't a buzzword, and considering your character model choice, I'm sure you have your own bias, as do I.

I think they will be designed with conventional standards of male attractiveness in mind, much like how their female counterparts are designed with conventional standards of female attractiveness as a point of focus.

I think that 'slim' is a highly subjective term and may carry different meaning when translated into English. Compared to Hrothgar and Roegadyn it is not a stretch to consider Midlander men to be 'slim' but they are still fairly bulky and depicted as such in concept art, cinematics and also within the game itself.

I do not think there is a strong demand for the unusual proportions that is being suggested by some posters within this thread. I think they would benefit from compromising and pushing for something similar to the specific artwork depicted in the signature of Lauront and numerous other posters, as that is seeing much more support and appreciation.
