I disagree. I think the proportions are a bit too odd to be reflected in-game in a way that looks decent. The arms are a bit too thin for instance. I think the art by FrischeNq is much more fitting.

I have to ask, though, which of the two characters depicted in the artwork you linked are you suggesting that viera men look like? I don't think they will be designed to look like the child due to what Yoshi-P outlined not too long ago. I figured I'd ask for the sake of clarification since quite a few of your posts throughout the thread have been in favour of them being extremely short, slender and young looking.

I also believe the art piece in question is due to be reworked somehow. Is that correct? I do not follow Twitter closely myself.

But hijacking a race just to make them look like you body wise is wrong. This race has a lore and a counterpart (female Viera) to be based off. You guys are trying to impose your "feminine" body/face into this race specifically, that's wrong. Others like Theodric are working within the boundaries of what the Viera race is; jungle warriors who die training in the jungle who are TALL and strong, specially the men. The females mostly stay in the village and fight when necessary. But the men.....the men protect the jungle with their lives 24/7. There's no way they would look "feminine" and skinnier than Elezen (Yes, OmegaM is skinnier than Elezen).

If Elezen body and baby faces is what you want then male Elezen is right there for the taking! Make your own Aymeric/Estinien.

Wanting the males to look a certain way can't be wrong, their model don't exist! We aren't shoe horning our wants to an already made cannon and I personal agree that in the thinking they should match the females as I have said several times.

BUT if you want to try and understand the way people thought this lets look at the facts that the lore has stated. People thought they would be more feminine because they are basically late bloomers and don't show any male features until they mature meaning most likely they would still have features that resemble that.

As for slender, they are one living in the forest off the land so they would be lean not beefy and rabbits are know for speed so they would be lean from that perspective as well.

They are also a part of a matriarchal society which invokes the image of strong females that play the role as protectors and would thus make you think that the males were smaller. It's not a HUGE unfathomable leap to see what they are talking about.

Also Theodric is not my enemy, I'm not trying to beat him so its not a his opinion vs mine.

The one on the left. The body type is not being reworked. It's the design of the leggings that may be changed. I think this body type is great. They are slim, but you can see they are very fit as well.

Also see omega m's body type which I think is the best compromise.

I disagree. I think the art by FrischeNq is a better example of elegance in the context of fierce defenders of the forest. With the compromise of a muscle slider I think it would be the best fit overall.

Omega M is also modeled after a Hyur and I was under the impression that you were strictly opposed to such an approach in their design. I'm glad to see that you've come around on that point, though.

Call it precaution. If people were willing to call Yoshi-P a liar over hearsay, then there's a chance it'll happen again. So I'm just saying "remember that no promises were made."

Slim is hella subjective, in Yoshida's mind slim could mean like Au ra. This body type can't convey a jungle warrior in my opinion...what you're asking for is for people to believe that these type of men are what jungle warriors are like?
