Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I think male viera will look just like females (gracefull, elegant and young (25-ish looks the females have) with the option to go for a very masculine male or a super cutesy daintsy male (just like with the females u can go badass 40 years old looking woman, or cute little daintsy girl), will be as tall as the females (arround the same height), will have a revealing racial armor that's most likely gonna be a loincloth and will have the same body mass as male au ra, but maybe a tad bit thinner. They will likely have animations that are similar (or simply modifications) from some/most of the females (elegant and graceful, with a bit of a Tsundere personality sometimes) and at least 1 standing pose that's feral and predator. They'll also most likely have some sort of limitation so they can be implemented without many issues at 6.0 (perhaps some gear won't show/ will look like their racial gear, we will see) and most likely have race-specific hairstyles (most likely long and very well done hairstyles, with some bestial/tribal hair options) and will get the other hairstyles over time, and finally I think that they won't look much different than the concept art. Oh, and while I'd like it, I doubt SE will give them fur patches since that would likely mean having to sacrifice something, and male hrots are an example that fur isn't a creation priority

I think that entirely depends on your definition of "handsome".

I'd like for them to have similar aesthetics. Not an exact clone of Midlander men but along those lines in terms of being conventionally attractive. I'd expect them to be taller than Midlander men too.

Just because someone wants a possible appearance that is different than what you personally prefer, it does not make that opinion more or less invalid there are just as many possibilities for bulky viera as there are for slimmer viera, there is no reason to mock anyone regardless of what aesthetic that they might want. Regardless the main concern should be if they are added to the game at all, this is like putting the cart WAAAY before the horse and getting upset that the cart's color is blue, their appearance will look like what it will look like and we have very very little control over that most likely.

Whether it's slim, chunky or bulky as long as the genderlocks are removed more options are better than none in this area, I would say the exact same for female Ronso, whether they are more hearty tall cat mommies or small and dainty like the female au ra as long as they're added there's a plus.

Having preferences is fine but there's no need to go into such intense vitriolic hatred for someone having a separate opinion from you regardless of whatever side they're on as long as they aren't asking for child viera.

I don't understand this. If you want to look like a female, just play a female. The benchmark has already shown that you can make somewhat androgynous females.

I didn't mean that. By saying they will look like the females, I meant they'll have a similar asthetic

Oh and going off of the viera lore, due to their bone structure all their shoes should be heels, and I doubt male's case is any different, so I do want heels on male viera racial armor personally

And btw, I stated that they'll most likely have the same body mass as male au ra, which is not anything near the case of the females (they are unhuman supermodels)

In terms of earlier Final Fantasies, you also have the likes of Seymour, Vayne Solidor, Snow, Sephiroth, Seifer, Kain, Gabranth/Basch, Balthier, etc. I also find Varis and Gaius to be attractive, although they're more aged than some of the characters we encounter, but the strong, well proportioned facial features are definitely there.
