Agreed, I actually don't even know what a "submissive" preset would even look like, and I highly doubt the viera would get that treatment. The females in general seem to look more stern for the most part; older than some of the other race's female counterparts - but can still look young and cute - with the same face! I think they were done very well. I think if they were to come out the males would look very similar. Masculine, maybe slightly aggressive presets. The elegant that someone described a page or two ago. Definitely not "submissive" though.
Submissive can have different meanings. It doesn’t just mean girly girl or a guy who looks like a girl, or a guy who’s weak. “Pretty boy” is basically “submissive” my meaning of submissive is what a pretty boy is. Just look at the greaser boys. Some were soft looking but still bad ass.
