There are lot of people currently saying that this change is ok because the healing intensity will go up so we won't have many stacks to burn either way. I strongly disagree and here is why. I will take 1 of my logs in Weapons Refrain (Ultimate) as an example in a 16:11 fight lets say I used 16 aetherflows (without the trait that will go away in ShB) which translate into 48 stacks. I had 21 ED casts. That means 43% of my stacks goes into ED, similarly in UCOB was 40%. I don't think SE will ramp up the healing intensity more than ultimate fights. So even in the highest difficulty you burn ~ 40% of your stacks.

If you account for the quickened aetherflow trait in that scenario ~ 1/3 of my stacks goes to ED. So if you can use 1/3 of your aetherflow in a dps oGCD in the most difficult contents in the game, I can only imagine how much stacks will be sitting doing nothing. Rest assured I play super safe and I don't even have good dps numbers on those fights ( that number could be way higher).
